Multi-Chanel Inventory Management

Hi everyone, this may be long winded so please bear with me.

I have been selling on eBay exclusively for about 15 years, 5 years as a serious business with a store. We have managed to rent a warehuose, create a stock system, and get an excell spreadsheet together to manage inventory and costs. At almost 5,000 listings, I feel it's now time to spread out and start listing on other marketplaces to increase exposure. Here is where the problems begin.

I've looked into several inventory management software solutions, and it's been one thing or another that makes them not a good fit. Sellbrite can't create ASINs and doesn't sync with Quickbooks, and since we sell clothing that usually isn't in the Amazon catalog and use QB for accounting, that's a no. Ecomdash has a terrible listing module, and as well as I know eBay, I couldn't even get a listing to push through onto eBay,  because the item specifics area is blank. I can fill this in myself of course, but I see that as being a time-suck more than anything, and I'm looking for a time-saver, so that's another no. Lastly there was Chanel Advisor, but the price on that one is way more than what we can afford at the moment. I don't think the volume we have is enough to justify that cost. There's several more that say they do this or that, but I'm not sure what else to try at this point.

The whole thing is starting to make my head spin. It's so overwhelming and confusing - I'm at a point where I feel like trying to do this was a mistake. What I need seems simple to me, but perhaps not. I would like a service that can manage inventory quantities across eBay, Amazon, and Walmart, and update quantities on the others when one sells. One that will allow me to create a listing that I can push out to the various marketplaces. I need it to be able to create ASINs. A plus would be that it syncs with Quickbooks, and an even better plus would be that I can sync orders and print shipping labels, with the commercial plus pricing.

I'm willing to pay a reasonable price, not looking for something for nothing. But it does need to be affordable given our volume, about 350 orders/month.

To any that sell on multiple marketplaces, can you offer some suggestions? What do you use that works well? Thanks in advance.

Have a look at SixBit, it currently handles eBay, Amazon & etsy with automated allocation plans for inventory control.

I'm a longtime user of the software but only for eBay.

Further.......

I know they are looking at adding another marketplace  after they complete a few things for the Amz integration. I don't know for sure but WMT is probably high on the list.

Re: Multi-Chanel Inventory Management

If it's listed here, do NOT list it anywhere else.

Re: Multi-Chanel Inventory Management

Hi, I use Jazva for my store. Been with them for 2 years. Itegrates with with Quickbooks and it can sync orders and print shipping labels.
It supports integrations with all 3 channels you’ve mentioned eBay, Amazon, and Walmart, plus Jet.
And it has smart repricers in addition to automatic syncing with multiple stores and my warehouses.
So, I think it’ll be a good fit for your business.
Hope that helps.
Good luck

I'm going through a similar station.  What multi-channel software did you decide on?

Re: Multi-Chanel Inventory Management

Check out Kyozou - some years ago we investigated any number of 3rd party systems and theirs was by far the best. It does all that you mentioned plus handles variations, etc. They have decent customer service and also do customization (for a price of course!). I'm not sure of the current costs, but I have to believe that they are competitive.

Have more children and make their chores removing listings from platforms when they sell on others. 🙂
