Moving unexpectedly. How do I price my shoe inventory to sell?

I was going to sell the boxes by a flat price but I realized that not all shoes are worth the same. Condition and brand vary. I looked up how much each shoe and boot was selling for on ebay and priced mine at 1/2 or 1/3 of that price.

Each of my boxes of shoes/boots is coming up at $40-$90 per box for about 7 pairs of shoes. Is that too much? They are good brands, I don't know if they will sell. Some of the soles are worn but are otherwise in great condition.

I have more which are in excellent condition. I should price these for more $ but how much % more?

I'm mostly interested in moving them but it would be a shame to loose all my invested money.

Any thoughts on my situation?

You already got your investment on the ones you wore, so any $ back would be found $.

On any new shoes, I would go about 50% below retail if you can't find what the same shoe is selling for elsewhere.

I have the same situation, as far as selling shoes. I no longer work in the corporate world, so will sell those high heel shoes. Just been too lazy to list them.

Good Luck!

Thank you for your thoughts on how much to sell for.

I didn't wear any of the shoes. They are all for ebay sales. Unfortunately, as soon as I got myself set up, I found out I have to move-across the country. It probably isn't worth it to take them with me.

I don't know if I can even sell the boxes on ebay. I might have to sell locally. Time is not in my favor.

I hope there are other e-bay sellers out there who are interested in selling shoes. These are good brands in good condition!

I don't know about it not being worth to take with you since they are all new.

Ebay sales are slow. If u r in a big rush, forget about selling them quickly, unless maybe u r willing to take an even bigger deduction than 50%.

If this thread was designed to get advertisement for your items you should have used your selling ID.  No one can see your items from this user name?

Good Luck!

I would never buy a used pair for $10 or more unless its a high end name. For all my used shoes I paid $5 or less. New in box name brand I am willing to pay 80% off retail. My source has Special sales 2X year and then I purchase only high ends name brand like Cole Haan, MK, Weizman or Ferragamo. Shoes are a hard sell now-a-days.

I would never buy shoes online, new or used. I wouldn't even buy them at a B&M store without trying them on.
