Missing "sell similar" button issue is getting wider publicity in ebay's silence

 now the cat is out of the bag..... Will anyone from eBay please dispel the rumors and let us know if the button is gone for good or if it's just a mistake that IT is dilligently working on to fix as we are in the busiest selling season of the year...  

Btw- if it's gone please note that your customers(eBay sellers) rely on it to streamline the listing process and want it back!

I guess I am not understanding the issue. My Sell Similar button is still there in my ended listings as a drop-down menu choice.

Sell one like this from another seller's listing.

Not sell similar from your own listing.

I was looking at some of your listings.  The Barbie patterns I sold those for years, they are so pretty.  You do have room in the titles, I would encourage you to add the words Crochet Pattern in the title.  Lots of crafters search for doll patterns.

FYI, the missing Sell Similar button seems to be limited to Ebay Motors / Parts.

@mam98031 The issue with the missing button is at this point limited to ebay motors and that is why we are so frustrated...so its a good idea for 28 years andits still a good idea for the rest of the site but not for parts and accessories?  Its crazy and ruining the listing process for the largest and highest grossing categories in ebay.

Last 3 parts I ordered for vehicles in the past year at my house didn't fit, even though eBay guaranteed a fit and I had my exact vehicle in my "Vehicle Library".    (retractable cargo cover for a Jeep,  rear passenger taillight assembly for a GMC, and the matching rear tail light bulb for the GMC)

Maybe they determined that was a root cause of a lot of issues was sellers using Sell Similar?

Just a guess, no idea as I have never sold in that category.

That was @valueaddedresource 's theory on the discussion I linked above @tdl_collectibles .

Responsible sellers like the OP review all details, but lazy sellers may not which costs eBay money on returns like yours.

OK.  That is what I said, that it was related to Ebay motors.  I didn't defend that it is only affecting Ebay motors, I simply stated the fact as I know it.
