Anyone ever have luck with eBay customer service when dealing with a member harassing you on multiple platforms (eBay, Instagram, etc)?
I will not divulge details, just wondering if anyone had an issue and it was handled appropriately.

No but i have a sure fire way to make it go away. Ignore them.

When you see the harrasser's ID, delete the post.
You can Block people on Instagram and Twitter.
On eBay you can Block bidding and buying, but if there has been a transaction, you cannot Block Messages.
However, you don't need to open or read those Messages.
DELETE DELETE DELETE.

Exactly. Take their power over you away - people hate to be ignored!

Yes! They just want to get a rise out of you - in the face of a non-response they'll get tired of it and wander off and hassle someone else.

No luck at all. Dealing with unwanted communication problems is not part of their job description.
Ignoring the communication is great advice ... especially since it looks like you are both escalating the problem. You've apparently purchased from each other ... and both left bad feedback. eBay would be foolish to get in the middle.
It doesn't matter who might have started it ... the smarter one needs to end it. 😐

Or run into Katie Karma and be busy with her for a while.......😎

If the messages on eBay are aggressive enough, then I've seen eBay CS take action and contact the person sending the messages. Without knowing the level of what you're dealing with nobody will be able to tell you if CS will help. It's not going to hurt to report them. eBay won't care about the other platforms- just stick to what they're doing on eBay.
If it's really serious then you should contact the police.

I had already reported them via the site, and eBay didn't do anything the first time. So I called CS.
They were supposed to be blocked, but they messaged me on Instagram because they know it's easier for me to report them on eBay. And since the block didn't go through, they bought something just to give me negative feedback.

You are making a lot of assumptions.

Harassment, bullying, fraud dont go away by ignoring it.

Your original post only stated you were being harassed - it did not state any particulars and you stated you would not be sharing any.
The way it is written it sounded as though they were harassing you via email/messaging, so it was logical to advise you to ignore the behavior. Post 9 is the first post of yours that alludes to anything beside messaging.
As shared up thread, if it is threatening of nature, alert your police department. If they circumvented your BBL to leave you negative FB and you can prove that, reach out to e-Bay on social media and message them with your ID, a phone number to call you back and discuss.

My question was specifically for anyone having success with eBay customer service on the matter. All I have seen so far is opinions on what I should do, and if someone does have some helpful feedback about my specific request, it's going to be buried.

YES, I have personally had success contacting e-Bay on Social media concerning a Buyer who circumvented my BBL to buy from me with ill intent. They were very helpful.
You can post a question here - you cannot dictate who cannot and cannot post a reply.
If you are upset, perhaps you should direct that at your harassing friend, not those of us who are trying to assist you?
ETA: E-Bay does not care about Instagram harassment or other platform harassment, social media bullying, etc. They do care about what occurs on e-Bay. I would work to outline for them how you know the Buyer circumvented your BBL with the intent to leave you negative FB, if that is in fact, what occurred.

Ebay does not disclose what actions they take when they take action on a complaint against another member. So no one can really answer your question. There have been cases when a member reported abusive messages to ebay and the ebay messages stopped.
I won't offer any advice but I will say I disagree with some things others have suggested... I would not delete messages but save them for evidence in case things escalate beyond words.
