That is why I am leaving Ebay, I don't want to deal with Apple Pay, Google Pay....etc. I'm did fine with Pay Pal. Feedback, buyer can leave you negative fb and lie about the reason. Seller cant ever leave buyer negative feedback, that's a joke. Resolutions always is in buyers favor , they can make up any excuse. Good Luck All with this new format Ebay is shoving down your throats to accept.

I am also closing my store. Did you know that we have to "buy out" our store subscription as if it were a lease?
It is the equivalent of a lease - that's clear when we sign up and get the discount.
(equivalent of about 3 months free)

I respect that. You can call the MP team and see what your alternatives are as there are alternatives. Below is a link. Drop to the bottom of the page.

AND, the negative feed back will remain forever as a factor of your overall % score.
Only for 12 Months. After that it drops out of your percentages you see on a feedback page for any member.

Thank you for providing your facts and setting us all straight. However, my opinion of the facts will not change and no matter how much you try to justify eBay's actions, you can't change that.
I presented some facts to you, I did NOT "justify Ebay's actions". Such a huge difference that people often confuse. IDK why. Just because someone can explain something doesn't mean they agree with it. It simply means that they have taken the time to learn what they can about a given subject and is able to explain it. You should learn the difference.
There are many things about Ebay I can explain in detail, but do I agree, absolutely not. The Simplified Return policy and the Service Metrics come to mind. I can explain them very well, but agree, OH NO I DON'T.
It absolutely does NOT matter to me whether you stay or you go. That is not my decision to make and it simply doesn't matter. I only gave some facts for consideration. You don't want to consider them or your mind is made up, so be it. You have every right to make your own decisions and I'm NOT trying to make anyone's decision for them. It simply doesn't matter to me one way or another. I simply try to have accurate info out there so some that want to can make an informed decision about the future of their selling on this site.

The Simplified Return policy?! You forgot to mention that under the new managed payments that if you ship an item to a buyer UPS that weighs a hundred pounds and the buyer then wants to return it, you will not be able to ship it back UPS, but instead it will be shipped using usps priority mail by ebay at the sellers cost. And ebay will also be nice enough to NOT let you contact the buyer during the return process!

I didn't forget to mention that. Sellers can issue their own return labels. You just need to make sure you pay attention when you are processing the return so that you can do that.

You are not likely going to be able to find a site out there that allows for the public shaming of its customers.
...about that.

Interesting how posts with negative comments about the "Cheerleading Squad" disappear from this thread. At least one post by myself and another poster are now gone. Censorship? Naaaah....... Certainly not on eBay.

First rule of Fight Club
I am genuinely interested in seeing some peer reviewed data on business' that go out of business that have an even handed buyer/seller experience.
My bet is there is none...I mean ebay had that for over a decade and they didn't go out of business...they exponentially grew...now they are exclusively buyer centric and they keep blowing growth and earnings.

As long as the posting adheres to the rules for the community, they stay. if they don't, they get removed. It is that simple and has nothing to do with censorship.
