Hello,
I noticed today the manage ended listings page is no longer showing the Views column. Even when I go into the customize views page the Views column doesn't show.
This is a different issue than the views column showing 0. The column is gone completely.
Can anyone confirm this?

Add me to the objectors also.
I can't believe Ebay doesn't see the importance of having view stats when deciding what action to take on ended listings. The reasons have already been posted so I won't repeat them, but this is a vital stat.
Why would Ebay not want a seller to be able to determine how to better present their listing, change search text, lower price, or just not relist?
All of those decisions are helped by knowing how many views a listing has.

If this is to emphasize the growth recommendations then the growth recommendation information should also present itself on the unsold item pages, along with traffic stats. Just my opinion.

This Stinks! Every week I use the number of views an auction gets to decide at what price to relist my unsold items in the store. It was bad enough that the numbers were all messed up from one day to the next on my mac, but in the end they were useful. Why would any thinking person/group/team at ebay remove this valuable information??? Unless, they want to remove increasingly bad news trends from our line of sight? Just put it back, ASAP. Now, to report to Ina Steiner...

If any eBay management reads this----I see I am not the only person who used this feature; what must be done to get it back?

That information is essential when making re-listing decisions. What has to be done to get it back?

The moderator here basically replied we're not getting it back. It's not a bug or oversight. We can only imagine why, as there is NO REASON a seller would wish those records were gone. Whatever the reason, it's a reason for ebay.

It's also missing on the Unsold page, and it was there last night!
brian@ebay please get this reported and the code change rolled back ASAP, having this information is critical in determining how we might alter prices.
Hi @dtexley3, I received confirmation that this is an intended change. View counts will only be visible on the Active page going forward. With that said, I have passed the feedback in this thread over to the relevant team for consideration.
Out of curiosity, does Ebay ever consider what Sellers consider useful to help them with their sales, or is this just planned to make life as hard as possible for sellers on Ebay. If Ebay doesn't want our business wouldn't it just be easier to say go away than to keep making changes to the site that make it harder and harder to make business decisions?

@pyrabluestudios wrote:brian.t@ebay PLEASE add me to the list of WHY would you take this away people!
If you can keep this column in the active page WHY can't it be kept in the ended page?
We use it to decide what to relist, what to possiblly make price changes on, etc.
If I don't have the time to get a screen shot of the upcoming daily ending listings I NOW get to individually click EACH listing to see how many hits an item had to make that decision.
SUCH FUN.
I then get to KEEP all those screen shots and decide what to list/secondary things after the first round. With this happending daily THIS JUST ISN'T WORKING FOR ME.
UGH.
I'm getting seriously tired of trying to find workarounds for everything that happens here.
That's a whole other post....
Imagine my surprise when the column came BACK!
I was going to do a few relists then come here and say THANK YOU brian.t@ebay BUT THEN thank you eBay for the small heart attack
First of all tho, the column is back on all pages but showing all zeros on a couple of them-the old glitch is back Hoping that will be fixed soon!
Now to the heart attck. I was relisting two items off a page, TWO. One said 'sorry this a dup listing'. I opened up a second eBay page to check, the item hadn't been relisted but ok, I went to remove the listing from the process - which left one listing = right? I click next to put that one thru and THEN I get a notice that says
ALL OF YOUR LISTINGS HAVE BEEN REMOVED YOU HAVE NO EBAY LISTING TO WORK WITH.
I would have taken a screenshot for you but it didn't stay on my screen. Talk about a coffee spitter! Here's the funny thing too, I went to that second ebay screen that I had opened (so I could leave that first one as is) and wouldn't you know, BOTH items showed relisted and yes, ALL my listings were still intact.
Thanks for the scare guys!

OH HOLY COW NOW THE COLUMN IS GONE AGAIN?!
brian.t@ebay Which one was the glitch? I am hoping that the column coming BACK and eBay listening to it's Sellers was the correct move

Yes brian.t@ebay please do update us. it should be easily evident to anyone/everyone at ebay now that no one supports this change from the seller side of things. It should be changed back. At the very least we deserve a detailed explanation as to why it was done. Please entertain us with that as I can't wait to hear whatever the nonsensical reasoning behind the change is.

Losing the view data surely goes down as one of the worst and hardest to understand "seller improvements" in a long time.

Do you know where they did stick the views on your ended listings? In the email you get from EBay that states "Time to relist" When you click on the message it will tell you how many views and watchers it had.
Now...who has the time to go through each email?

Ya well the column never did come back..... Sad that a glitch was a tease OF WHAT WE WANT AND WHAT WORKS WELL FOR EVERYONE.
Sorry, need more coffee, I'll be less cranky after that LOL
