Hello,
I noticed today the manage ended listings page is no longer showing the Views column. Even when I go into the customize views page the Views column doesn't show.
This is a different issue than the views column showing 0. The column is gone completely.
Can anyone confirm this?

Another vote for PUT THE DATA BACK!
I find view counts on unsold very useful for possible price adjustments when relisting.
Or helping to decide wether something is worth relisting at all, for that matter....
ARRRGGGHHH! So frustrating!
Thanks!

All anyone at ebay will ever say:
"We're making changes to improve and streamline the seller experience. These are based on what sellers requested."
That's canned and typical. Who knows the real reason? Most people at ebay probably don't. But there is always a non-answer ready to go...

Taking away the views has hurt sellers. There was more infomation in that one simple column than anywhere else.
1) If there were none to little views I would need to change the wording or category of my item
2) Lots of views but no sales I have to look at pricing
3) After changing #1 and #2 after a while and views went back down it means I need to donate it
With all due respect to you Brian, because I know you try to help us and you're head must be killing you at the end of the day with all the complaints lately (you probably hate coming to the boards anymore) but..
The powers that be need to stop tying our hands behind our backs & blindfolding us.

Gee, if I were running a brick and mortar store (I do actually!) and nobody came in my shop, I would immediately know that I had a problem....why aren't people visiting my shop? As far as online stores are concerned....might I want the same info? Because I can't actually SEE who's entering my store or clicking on items unless there are some metrics to track it. This is really basic marketing 101, what they teach us first year of college. Google provides robust analytics for webmasters, we couldn't live without them (hey, Shopify does too). Ebay, however, doesn't. Yep, the #2 marketplace online is still in the 90's. SAD.

Hi @dtexley3, I received confirmation that this is an intended change. View counts will only be visible on the Active page going forward. With that said, I have passed the feedback in this thread over to the relevant team for consideration.
Translation:
I checked to confirm that it isn't another random daily bug, which is totally possible. But this one is intentional.
View counts are gone. It's done. Discussion closed.
The right 'Team' took care of this stuff. You won't get a straight answer here or anywhere.

They could at least put some of the traffic info next to the unsold item. Maybe the views is broken permanently. Maybe it never worked. It wasn't working a month ago.

Add me to the objectors too. This is HIGHLY IMPORTANT information that has been taken away from the sellers WITHOUT ANY WARNING or, as of yet, explaination. This is insanity. This practice needs to STOP NOW!

This totally sucks, ebay please fix

bunch of idiots
why don't they spend time on their much beloved catalog and just leave us alone.

anyone gotten an answer as to why anyone in their right mind would take away views on unsold items? what was their reasoning?
08-12-2018 08:27 AM
and charging us for doing it

SURPRISE!!! that is just what they say about the new label printing process. How much easier can it be then to click print a shipping label, click on service, type in weight, then click print?
From what I have seen their new fall seller updates the label printing process looks like another ebay nightmare like all the others they inflict on us.
If only I could wake up and this would be all over

I can only assume that if there is no View Count ... then there were no views.
Time to sell it somewhere else other than eBay.

I already replied to the conversation but then saw your post. Light bulb went off.
We all got that letter that said OH SORRY, things have been broken/'might' have impacted you ie YES THEY DID and this was one of those things.
We JUST get the info working again and within a couple of weeks it is taken away again permanently? Beta test maybe to see who/how many complained? I did.
It was stated this was a planned action to remove the column.
Who knows.
