How is ebay supposed to know that?

Start considering the site as a whole......and, as said, ignore the suggestions/ideas that don't apply to you...

Just ignore them.

Like the suggestion to start auctions at .99 - just ignore it!

I too simply delete all such notifications from Ebay without reading them.

have you heard of the words "Ignore", "Delete"???

just because eBay suggests these things does not mean you have to follow through...

No, that's not what you need.

You need to learn to take a deep breath, and realize that it is actually pretty easy to learn to ignore the stuff from ebay that doesn't apply to you.

Or you can continue to make mountains out of mole hills, if that's your preference.

Pro-tip life hack: ignore those messages.

Do you open every piece of junk mail?  And read the entirety of the contents?  Do you engage in ten minute conversations with scammers offering you a vacation, car warranty, etc. that catch you on your mobile phone?  When a door-to-door janky pest control salesperson rings on your doorbell, do you feel obliged to hear him out, and engage in a good back-and-forth on why you should hand over your credit card?

My email used to get flooded by these types of things. I have setup a number of filters in my email that automatically moves them to trash.

I don't get these messages.

Go to Account settings>communication preferences>selling activity, edit:  https://commspreferences.ebay.com/commsprefs  Turn off the stuff you don't want.   I have Listing Improvement Recommendations and  Recommendations to improve your items and sales turned off.  Turn off any other stuff you don't want as well.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.
