Make Offers to Watchers - but not on Seller Hub?

With the 2019 Spring ebay update there will be the possibility to send offers to watchers of your items. I am very excited about that. However I've become aware that this already exists when you use the regular selling manager tool. I use the Seller Hub, and making offers to watchers is not available there yet. Why is that?
I love Seller Hub but I keep opting in and out daily to make offers to my watchers.

Any insight?

Thanks!

But it's avaialble to everyone on the regular seller's page. I opted out of seller hub and had it. made my offers, and went back to seller hub. And then guess what? I believe one of the offers worked. Someone purchased the item. yet I have no idea if it was via the offer or not bc I wasn't notified that it came through the offer. It sold for less than my listed price so I believe it's via the offer. I am so confused.

If I get spam offers from a seller I will not be buying that item or anything else from that seller. IMHO if sellers want to sell for less they should drop their price not send extra annoying emails. I can be watching hundreds of items at any time. Imagine how much spam I could get?

You'll have to set your communication preferences to block them.

I highly suggest you not bother the watchers. THey signed up to watch an item, not be solicited for an item they can easily just buy on their own. I mean they are watching it.

It's a tool that will come back to bite Sellers, let it be and maybe it will go away. The blue strip is already all over my page of items, as if the ebay website isn't cluttered enough.  There are always schemes Ebay comes up with to bother Sellers with which are better left ignored. Time spent on schemes is time lost not selling. JMHO of course 🙂

I don' t have it at all. My husband has it right in seller hub and has for few months now. I don't have it on either view. It is suppose to be in seller hub, my husband has it and I can't figure out why I never got it on my account.

I tried it on 5 items but immediately regretted it.   If I watch an item it would annoy me to get more "spam" from eBay so I will not be using the feature in the future.    I price my items competively - people can buy it at that price or not.

Oh - and it does not show up in Seller Hub for me - it shows on the My eBay Active page...... maybe you will find it there?

I have it in seller hub on one account and under All Selling on another.

I have a ton of leeway in my items and have used it on 2 accounts. I'm getting roughly 10-15% sell through on them.

And, this 'don't bug the watchers' comment is ridiculous. When I lower my price normally, you get a message from eBay. This isn't any different.

It's a very productive tool that is both beneficial to buyers and sellers when used correctly.  Though it can be a double edged sword.

Blog mailing lists come to mind. Very very productive, yet if the webmaster starts spamming his or her followers with ads most will never respond or reestablish trust again.

I've benefited from this tool as a seller and as a buyer.

If you don't want sellers sending you special offers on merchandise you most likely wanted to being with opt out, it's really that simple.

The problem is with blocking communication on Ebay is that you don't seem to be able to block things you don't want (spam) while keeping the ones you do want (Ebay Bucks).
