Main listing picture won't enlarge when clicked on

Today I found that when I click on a main listing picture it doesn't enlarge but instead stays the same size as on the listing. All other pictures on the listing enlarge as you scroll through them but if you scroll back to the first picture it is still small and won't enlarge. This is happening on all my 100 plus listings and just started today. I checked other sellers listings and those too are not enlarging the main picture when clicked on. My iPad and my lap top are both seeing this problem so not just an iPad problem. Being a Banknote seller this is a real problem since customers rely on the pictures to see the condition of the note by looking close up at the fine details which you can't when the first picture won't enlarge. If I use my lap top I can use the mouse to hover and zoom on the main picture but if I click on it the picture stays small and you can't see any of the fine details of the note.  The option of hover and zoom does not apply to the iPad so having the main picture listing staying small is a real problem. Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I can zoom into your main pictures without any problem.  I'm using Firefox on my phone.

Hi,

I am using chrome.  Your first photo did not enlarge when I clicked on them. The other one did. 

You said that this just started.  Was it after the listing page was changed again?  I would wait until Friday or Saturday and see if it gets fixed.  It may be a cascade failure due to other changes.  If it is still not working properly, click on the Tell us what you think link and report it.

Thank you for the replies! This happened all at once to all my listings and also to everyone else's listings when I view them. I'll give it some time to fix itself since I didn't do anything to cause this that I'm aware of. I'll monitor it and post any changes if they occur.

I think it is a system wide glitch. All mine and all other listings I click are like that. Even when I switch computers.

Main (first) image won't enlarge when clicked. I am experiencing this in all my browsers: Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, with listings from various sellers.  Other images enlarge as per normal.

My desktop PC has Windows 10 with all updates installed.

Will eBay refund listing fees for sellers who have been impacted?

I'm sure this is a new feature.  They had to have done this on purpose.   It makes it easier for people on cell phones, now they don't have to be confused or inconvenienced by blowing up an image and looking closer.

Yes, it's happening to me also on my chrome browser, desktop PC.  Inconvenient, but at least I can mouse over and zoom to see the enlarged image.

Hopefully this gets back to normal sooner than later since like myself, if you buy and sell items that have only 2 pictures on the listing such as front and back of trading cards , obverse and reverse of  banknotes etc. and you are using an iPad style tablet ( no hover and zoom option), you're not going to be able to purchase anything because you can only see details of 1 side with the main listing picture not enlarging when clicked on now. This is bad for buyers and sellers.
