The pulled my listing of Cards against Humanity and 1st expansion. Here's what it said:
You ever have this happen to you? What did I do - it's not a fake.

Well, someone reported it as fake..where did you get them?

No. But I can tell you not to relist the cards if eBay says not to relist the cards.

Have a conversation with Nick, that's who you have issue with. Ebay is only following their 'forced' rules that anyone can join Vero and then have removed, anything that they have a copyright on.

At the local hobby store years ago.....

Vero is the VERIFIED right owner of the item you were trying to sell.
They say remove and eBay HAS to remove it.
This is between you and the owner, not eBay.
I would advise not to list them again.

Could have been a 'return' to the hobby store years back, full of fakes... it happens.

Even if they aren't fake, they are on the VeRO list, so the company doesn't want their items being resold on a secondary market. You are now on eBay's radar, so don't relist them.

I got something similar with a PS4 controller, it was original.
Someone told me that the companies (owners) in my case Sony was taking down all products by saying they were fake, to remove competition on eBay.

what is vero?

Verified Rights Owner program

Notwithstanding whatever the VERO policy is, the ability to sell something on a secondary market is explicitly protected in law even if a "company doesn't want their items being resold on a secondary market."

Very weird - I'm confident it's not a fake and there are 100s of identical listings. What would trigger this?

If that were true, the VeRO list/program wouldn't exist. Many do sell items on this list without an issue. But when the company polices other secondary sites, the listings must be removed.

Some one reporting you. The VERO person doing a search etc.
It may even have been a bot that has not found the other items due to the category they are in. or key words.
Don't worry about others, they might be sellers that have the right to sell under the company. One is never sure on such things.
Again I strongly advise against relisting them.
