I inquired after it was restricted and asked for an invoice from support.
I responded that it doesn't exist because the item was disposed of my personal belongings.
Is support satisfied with this response?
>>Documentation showing that I recently purchased an item listed on eBay. Documentation to verify the item would include a manufacturer's invoice or receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot accept photos of the item to satisfy this requirement. (Note: This documentation must include supplier information, items purchased, quantity purchased, unit price, and payment information)

For example here is the listing for the Victrola Credenza listed on yahoo japan auctions that he/she has listed at almost $18K
https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g1175293517 which would be currently about $5K with conversion rates

Only when things are obviously something to doubt.....

If eBay asks for a receipt, you need to provide it to remain in good standing and have the MC011 removed. We all have many reasons why we don't have a receipt, but in ebay's world, those reasons aren't an excuse.
When we sell on their platform, we sell by their rules, like it or not, fair or not...eBay will do what they feel is in their best interest

How many speakers can one person have for personal use?

Because Customs is in another country. Your biggest risk is having to refund because Customs (in another country) confiscated the item. You would have to be a much larger trafficker in fake or stolen items before Customs would bother to reach out to Japan to have you arrested. The fact that you are still walking around free does not indicate that nothing was suspicious about the items you sold or are selling now.
Speaking of which: are you claiming that all 1000+ items currently for sale or already sold are 'personal belongings'? Just a search for 'speakers' got me 84 results of 24 different brands. You must have a big house.

It looks like you have come up against a consumer protection law here in the States, the INFORM Act. High dollar sales from selling pricey items online can trigger a review of one’s account. By law, eBay must investigate sellers who show certain operating characteristics, and establish that seller’s legitimacy. Selling platforms are being held accountable by these laws. As a result, you are being asked to provide reasonable documentation to support your claims that you are above-board, that these are personal items purchased by you, and in your possession.

Ordinarily, no, but your account activity went from listing items under $100 when you first joined to listing $1000 items now. Too many red flags went up.

Have a question - Never been to Japan although I'd love to visit there. I really don't know how many rooms are in a average size home, but is it common to have a record player in every room ?

You will have to come up with some invoices. Can you contact the supplier? See if they can help.

Something's hinky. From re-evaluating all the speakers you have for sale it appears you're listing items from other online sites and presenting them as your own. Perhaps buying them after you've made the eBay sale? Why else do your pictures all appear to have different backgrounds and aesthetics?
Why claim them as personal belongs? Is that something to do with Japan's income taxes?

Your post says they are your personal items. If you source from reputable companies, then you should have valid receipts.

Wow, I did that search and you're right. Scanning down the list -- they all look fake to me.
And my only knowledge on the subject is having purchased authentic Coach at full retail from the Coach store back in the last century.
You can see it in the leather, the hardware, etc.
So much for having blind trust in Japanese sellers of these bags.
