Anyone made it through this?
I have a legitimate business with a brick and mortar retail store, EIN, Suppliers/distributors, the whole works. I have been in business for years.
I started putting up listings on ebay to start an e-commerce expansion to my retail store.
Then sales picked up... and they restricted my account requesting info that I had already provided when I first opened the account (DL, Bank Statement, etc etc)
I have had numerous conversations with ebay support over phone and chat. I get different answers, they have no idea about anything it seems. I have read horror stories of accounts becoming permanently restricted, and having the restriction lifted and still not having listings.
I can not get them to tell me if I will have the same search result performance when lifted, if I will have watchers of my listings still, and they cant even say they will prorate my monthly ebay shop fee.
How can they just shut a business down like this and have no answers, no one to talk to, and no recourse to the negative business impacts?
Also, I was told on the phone by a support rep in another country, that the "dedicated US support" given to the 4th and 5th tiers of business accounts is not real. They are all still funneled through other countries. I was shocked they admitted that over the phone!
Someone tell me they made it through this and how!?

update:
I got a response back saying they accepted my DL, Bank statement, and Proof of Business Ownership, but that I still need to provide invoices/receipts that prove I own products I sell.
Im a little frustrated because I sent 3 invoices from 3 of my suppliers the first time and they did not specify why they were not accepted, so I dont know what to submit now. I submitted a different invoice in sheer hopes it randomly meets the requirements they are looking for. All have the supplier info, my info, my address that matches my business address on ebay, quantities, costs, and payment method. soooooo, IDK. This is so much fun. I am loving ebay right now 😕
Side note, I told them to google my store. I have a physical retail store. It is stocked with all the goods I sell. If they would just google "Plants N Fins" we would be done with this inquisition.

Final Update:
The restriction is lifted, and everything they told me would happen did not. None of my active listings were put back. They are all "ended" and I have to manually re-list all 1500 of them. All of my "qty sold" numbers are reset to 0, I have no reviews on any products now, no watchers, no views, which means I have no search ranking, I have to have my developers re-sync my inventory to new listings now. They just put me back to day 1 and I have no recourse. I just have to take it. I was told nothing about anything I did wrong. Just that its a routine thing they do to all sellers, which is false.
NOTHING EBAY CS SAYS IS TRUE!
I was told I would have my listings back the way they were. FALSE
I was told not to worry and that my sales numbers would all be unaffected. FALSE
I was even told by a rep that they would escalate my case to the "promotions" team to help me sell "better than ever before". FALSE
