Lying Buyers

Hello there,

I've never posted here before but I'd like some feedback. What do you all do when a buyer lies on you? For example, a buyer sent me receipt and a picture of the item they bought from me but then said to Ebay that they haven't received there package.

For those that dont know, thats do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I don't know why ebay doesn't make that their #1 and #2 rules.

#1) No lying.

#2) No cheating.

the tracking showing it arrived is helpful.  I have had people tell me they received the box with nothing in it. I record my packaging of anything more than 400$ because of the this.  I show fully continuity with the label on the box from wrapping to sealing and the box details etc.  it has been very useful to send the video to ebay when there is an issue.

What carrier do you use?  If it is USPS, when a package has been damaged while in their custody, they have notes placed on the package.  It is always advisable to have insurance on the package when it is this valuable, then you could have filed an insurance claim.

Ebay doesn't accept video's as evidence.  At least they haven't for many years, but of course things change around here without notice, so it could be a newer change.  They typically don't take them as they are easily manipulated.
