Low or no sales

Hello - the discussion I started seemed to have disappered.

Is anyone else experiencing drastic drop in sales or no sales at all for days.  We have no sales at all for almost two weeks now during the day from 7 am to mid night.  there are couple of exceptions.  any sale that happened only after mid night and maybe early before 7 am. 

Is anyone aware of anything that is causing this drop in sales.  I appreciate your input.  

Why did my last discussion I started on this disappear?  Am I not supposed to talk about that here?

It just like a cut-throat act.  The overseas sellers try to obtain a better position in best match, they cut their prices to their maximum extent.  However, the local sellers are suffering a great loss due to the fact that their prices are less competitive. Who is going to win?  Ebay and the buyers....

you are so right, I have been hoping and thinking ebay will get better but its not happening!!
I am losing money just keeping my store open. I'm thinking about closing my store but at this point I keep waiting for it to get better. Wonder if Donald Trump realizes what China is doing to our small store's. I've called ebay and they are no help. They just say your store looks good,Nothing Wrong' Still no sales. What do we do !!!!!

Hi, same story here, I've had almost nothing for months.  Ebay analytics tell me I need more traffic--well duh!  I have a store subscription, *thats*  **supposed** to get more traffic alone.  Then they tell me to upgrade my subscription. Well, how can I justify 75 dollars a month, when I can't even sell that much?  I've tried everything, everything.  Discounts, donations, free shipping for "more exposure" .  Nothing is working, it's like I'm invisible.  I used to list 30 items for .99 and all of them sell, most for at least a few dollars.  Now I list 130 and sell maybe 5 things.  and only 10 percent of that goes for more than a dollar.  It's just not even worth all the effort to get good pictures, edit, list, package and send, and all that with the expense of supplies added.  I'm thinking of other options. Ebay is just not working all for me anymore--and the only thing I've done different is add even more items, and work harder to have decent selection. When you know what you have is worth a whole lot more than a dollar, and can't even get a dollar for it that's pretty disgusting.

since seller hub was forced on my account subscriptions 2 times, my sales have went to almost zero...I normaly sell between $200 to $300 per day this time of the year....my last 7 days sales are less than $500 since the hub...and hardly no messages from potential customers, where I would normaly have at least 5 or more a day...its like my listings are not being seen...plus now 210 listings are non compliant due to the new rules, even tho I use the checker tool and it says my listings are good to go...please fix this mess

I used to sell about a thousand a month and sometimes double or triple that, now I get almost nothing.  I'm seriously discouraged, just can't find any motivation to keep trying.

I was making $3000 the last several Septembers....Now I am barely making $100 a week...My ads are BETTER than ever, prices low for high quality items...Loosing my motivation too. It cost a lot to buy items to sell, take multi-photos, edit, write ads, pay for store, supplies etc...I will give it a go until Christmas and if things don't improve, I will go elsewhere or cut my home budget to no frills. I've been selling 10 years and this is the lowest point ever. I thought it was me - good (no pun intended) to hear others are going through the same issues.

my sales the last 16 days...first 9 days of sept...apx $1100...2nd week dailys starting on the 10th = $480....11th = $5.....12th = $50.....13th = ZERO SALES.....14th = $60.....15th = ANOTHER BIG FAT ZERO...16 = 3RD ZERO THIS WEEK??? what is going on?  Hardly any views either...seems I was turned on to search on the 10th with almost $500 in sales that day...then it just stopped like they hit the swiitch...someboy is messing with the rhythms again....lol....not really laughing 😞

I think we've seen a lot of cases where Buyer Search on ebay.com has bugs. Listings aren't showing up consistently in Search Results.  

I'd recommend opening a 2nd eBay account just to run searches and see if your listings are showing up in Search Results.  Test searches should be run 5 or 10 times to see if search results are changing rapidly with some listings showning up and then disappearing for no explainable reason.  Test searches should also try toggling the "Item Location" radio button search paramater on the left side of the screen.  For some sellers their US-based listings have been incorrectly grouped at the bottom of Search Results with "items from International Sellers" - this bug has shown up and disappeared several times throughout the summer.    It's been proven to be a bug and many people have reported it.

multiple IDs...I can check all day long for views and placement in search...they will do nothing...they dont give a hoot about us small frys...I so miss the ebay from before the boycott many years ago...it was such a great place to sell...then the GREED got to them...we are only a number to them..they could care less, as long as the dropship sellers using Amazon or china listings made to look like they are in the USA, but ship from aliexpress are here, we have no chance...we are lost in search

I have actually been making more money selling my items at local auction houses than I have been on eBay (sad really) but it helps with the bottom line.  Unfortunately I am looking into other venues as this is not a hobby for me and I have others who rely on my income (and I can not afford to wait for things to get sorted out, if they do).  I find it a shame when a company forgets those who helped it get to where it is.  I wish everyone the best and hope you all find a way out of the problems you are facing.
