Hi all, so my wife received a pair of Louis Vuitton sandals which are in great condition, no box. I have spent some time researching fakes vs real. Since these sandals are too small, we have decided to sell on eBay. I am in the process of taking to a louis vuitton store to confirm fake or real hopefully. my question, I do not see where the bay will authenticate? I know the bay does for MJ shoes. Is this correct? Thanking you in advance.

Here's a link that might be helpful:

If I could be suggestive. Don't auction these off. These are scam magnets and most likely you're going to get a lot of fake bids etc. You know what they're worth. List them at a fixed price, with immediate payment required checked off. NO best offers either or you will continue to chase your money.
Also, You say that they're Authentic and I certainly don't doubt your expertise, but note that Ebay has the last say on their authenticity and many have been disappointed as they found out they actually were not authentic. Hopefully that won't be your situation.
Good luck to you and Happy Selling!

many thanks. I do not know if these are authentic thus trying to find out. So. ebay will authenticate these? Hopefully will find out before I list.

Yes. I believe once you sell them, they go to the authentication hub. If I'm wrong, someone please advise. From there they go to the customer.
Wishing you Good luck and hope they sell. Would be nice to have some extra Christmas money!!
Have a great day.

Post pictures of the shoes on the Fashion board and they may be able to tell you whether it is worthwhile to pay to get them authenticated. https://community.ebay.com/t5/Fashion/bd-p/fashion
Retail stores do not usually authenticate.
Afaik the only shoes that are sent to the eBay authentications are sneakers. But whether the program is used or not, you must know if an item is authentic before you list it.

If they were given to your wife as a gift, and they're too small for her, perhaps she can ask the person who gave them to her for the receipt so she can exchange them. How the person responds will tell you if they're authentic.
