😂😂💀
Can we do away with these fake "metrics"?

The volume requirements are key to giving TRS meaning.

These never really made any sense to me and if I was eBay it's hard to understand from a revenue perspective. You could have a seller that sold 5 items at $1,000.00 each which would earn eBay FVF's on a total of $5,000.00 but not qualify the seller for TRS.
You could have another seller that sold 105 items at $10 each which would earn eBay FVF's on a total of $1,050.00 and qualify the seller for TRS.
Somebody at eBay missed an accounting class or two.

IMHO it's reasonable for eBay to want Top Rated Sellers to demonstrate that they can provide excellent service for 100 transactions per year. It's not based on a "revenue perspective"; it's based on the perspective of service to buyers.

What is fake about them? Please explain a bit more and we might be able to assist.

But TRS has never been about how much FVFs you generate for Ebay. It is about seller experience. I think you are just mistaken as to why the program exists.

I have bounced back and forth between TRS and above standard multiple times since I have been selling on eBay and generally don't worry all that much about it. From a service perspective I guess you have to draw the line somewhere but there is a "revenue perspective" added into this formula. Take the OP who has met the 100 transactions but not the $1,000.00 in sales. That is the "revenue perspective" of it.

I think you are trying to insert something about revenue to Ebay into this TRS program that simply isn't there. Most sellers with 100 items sold in the period would reach $1,000 in sales as the average is only $10. But of course those that do 99 cent listings will require many more sales than someone that sells items for $10 and above.
TRS is all about experience and service. I've been TRS since the day the program was introduced. I have not lost it over the years for any period of time. I changed nothing on how I take care of my customers to comply with the TRS requirements either.

I have only lost TRS when I failed to meet the standards for qualify of service by cancelling orders for items which I misplaced.
TRS is intended to show performance which is maintainable over a volume of transactions.
As for the seller who sells penny items, they deserve no recognition.

What's fake about it?
You didn't reach the goal.
It's not like kids sports today, where you get a trophy just for participating.

The OP is an example of this (just barely) having hit the 100 items and then missed the $1000 by less than $10. Ouch!
I think that threshold of $1000 was set up so they don't give TRS status to sellers who sell 100 items at $1 or $2 each, rather than being about FVF revenue to eBay.

TRS is like so many things; legit if you have it, nonsense if you don't. 🤣
@gottasellemall69 At least it's a rolling evaluation. -You'll get it back next month, as long as you make up that ten bucks, plus however many items and bucks were on the first month (which will roll off).

I agree with you....it makes no sense.
I wonder how many negative feedbacks a seller can have and still be a TRS seller?...LOL.
And the tracking for everything makes no sense to me...I haven't loss anything in 2+ years.

I would say feedback is way too subjective to count as a service standards metric (and comes with its' own punishments/rewards as a reputation metric). But I do empathize about the tracking thing. -It almost automatically excludes sellers of stamps and coins. Seems like eBay could use some other measure of speediness in shipping. EDIT: -sorry, you talked about your items not getting lost. That's not how tracking applies to TRS; it's just about getting your packages out on time. Whether they get lost cannot be prevented by even the top-of-top sellers.

Saw a TRS today with 1600 negative feedback just this month.
