Loss of visibility in Japan

Has anyone else had a problem with a loss of visibility in Japan on .com?

It is my biggest market and for months now my clients have been writing to me to say that when they look up my store, they see zero listings.

I've been in contact with eBay again and again to no effect - when I do get someone to actually understand the problem, all they tell me to do is get buyers to use a different browser, or that ebay will 'refresh' my store. None of which works. There is clearly some sort of fairly major software glitch.

A couple of weeks ago I asked to speak to a supervisor. Still waiting....

My clients tell me that it is not exclusive to me - that they have problems with other sellers. Of course if you don't know that you can't be seen, you may just think that sales are slow due to the pandemic.

Would be interested to hear if anyone has had similar experiences,  and how you go about escalating a problem with ebay that they simply won't address.

This problem has been around since the September update. I don't think ebay cares.

That's odd..

OP did you check to make certain eBay did opt you out of shipping to Japan without your knowledge?

Thanks - the reason I asked on the .com site is that is where I list - I can been seen on the .uk site in Japan if someone specifically goes there - but international buyers default to .com. And, no, my shipping policies are as they should be. But this has confirmed to me that there is a wider issue. Now I just have to get them to do something!
