Listings stay active when you're out of stock feature. How long do the listings stay active?
They should stay active indefinitely! I have read conflicting times, 90 days to 180 days?
thanks

@fedorasgotgame @heckofagame If you want your listings to automatically end when you are Out of Stock you need to change a setting in Site Preferences. Under Multi-quantity listings change the "Listings stay active when you're out of stock." to the OFF setting.

Also as a reminder, if you do keep your listings active when they are out of stock, make sure any expiration dates are updated. Having listings that are out of stock but active and have a expired date on the item (some make up ect.) this can cause some issues with your account.

They stay active for 90 days (but are not visible in search because they are not available to purchase). Then they end, and because they ended "naturally" (or organically), they will be visible in Completed Items search for another 90 days. So they are still accessible (either active or ended) for 180 days.
If you want to keep a listing accessible for longer than that, you can wait until nearly the end of the 90 days. Then go in and revise the listing to a quantity of 1. Save it, then revise it again back to quantity of 0. This will use up one of your free-insertion-fee listings, or you will be charged an insertion fee when the quantity is set to 1. This will reset the 90-day clock. (As long as an active listing has a quantity of 0, there is no listing fee when the listing renews each month.)
I'm not positive if it is really 90 days each, or if is actually 3 months (which may be a few days more).

I ran out of time to edit my previous post #5.
