Listing

Hello,

How do I create a listing that contains several different artists?

For example, I have a "lot" of Disney movies to sell but obviously there isn't enough room in the title or subtitle.

How do you let buyers know every movie that's in the "lot"?

Greatly appreciated!

Disney is popular enough that I would not sell them as a lot.

Personally, I would use a variation listing or list them separately as some title go for a lot more than others.

I had a few "Variation" drop lists including one for DVDs.  Ebay removed it and warned me I was in violation and further violations could result in being kicked out of Ebay.   It appeared that my drop list of 45 rpm records, and my CDs were also in violation so I removed them.  The CDs were ALL "various artists" so now I have 100+ listings instead of one convenient (for me and customers) listing.  Meanwhile there are dozens of CD drop lists...

I would list them separately.

A variations listing would be suitable if you had 10, 20, 30, 100 of the same title DVD to sell, not one or two.

Listing

Since many families no doubt already own one (or more!) Disney films already, the same families may not wish to purchase a "lot" of Disney films, which may include films already in their possession.  So, while it may be more labor intensive for you, I would also suggest listing each film separately.

Another reason for separate listing involves the "extras" which may be included with each film.  Disney is notorious for constantly re-releasing films, with "new" additions, songs, games, "enhancements," and so on.  And many Disney collectors obsess regarding collecting ALL the variations.  Thus, listing each film individually will provide you the opportunity to list all these "extras" in your "Description" area in your listings.

Good luck!

Oh, I meant they are all different titles.

My thought was that they may be more valuable as a lot since they are all of the sought after in one way or another. Thoughts?

Also, what is a variation listing?

If you want to sell a "lot" made up of a few or a dozen or a hundred movies, put a couple of titles in the Title along with the number.

Then in the DESCRIPTION  list all the titles.

That's what the Description is for.

You have about 5000words available in the Description. I rarely go over 100 and that's chatty.

If they are all sought after, i would definitely list separately so collectors can pick and choose those they want.

See the link below to learn all about variation listings.
