I opened 2 (two) accounts roughly 3 days apart.
My GF's account which is a generous account at 1,000 Items and a value set at $25,000.
she has never been on eBay EVER, did not even know how to set up and join...
Then I started my personal account and they gave me 100 items and $1,000. limit
when asked they told me she did not get that and I was lying.. so I deleted my account and made a bogus account like so many other scammers and fakes selling **bleep**!
this time they gave me 10 items per month and a $500. limit
Both times I had to go through this song an dance with a chat idiot for about 45m asking me tons of worthless questions.... I never had to chat with anyone regarding my GF's account... so whats up?
Now this account, I can't sell on unless I go back through that chat idiot again!

Thanks for posting!

Starting and immediately stopping accounts. Attempting to sign up for two accounts at the same time being new to Ebay, on top of that calling people idiots ? Curious how well it would go the first time you run into a problem with a buyer. IMO it sounds like you are lucky you can sell at all here.

And the first time one account goes **bleeps** up, both of them will get suspended, since they share an IP address. 😂

if I buy something from you can I pay extra and have you include a gift card?

I'm not sure what you expected when you were trying to game the system and found out the system was a bit too smart for that. Your answer is to get mad at the system.
FYI, there are rules, limitations and money holds on new sellers. So hopefully your girlfriend and you take the time to read up on those rules. While you may think it is easy to scam buyers on Ebay as a seller, those rules may change your mind. But it would be in both of your best interest and the best interest of your potential buyers for you guys to learn about selling here before starting to sell or it may just be you guys losing money due to errors or your own creations.

they share an IP address.
This is possibly why the first account had such generous terms while the second and third were more restrictive.

Yeah eBay gets fussy about that. When I started my using my second account recently they were quick to shut it down. Support fixed it. Then the site NARU-ed me. To my surprise they have 24 hour support for issues like that. Explained the situation and everything was resolved. I can't see my limits on this account, but the other one is quite impressive.

While I understand the sentiment you have towards eBay customer "support", I have to tell you, you brought this on yourself. Open account, close account. new account, this account. RED FLAG RED FLAG RED FLAG. Good luck.
