Hello I need help..I posted this message before, but I guess I got Something Wrong...A few hours ago I tried to post some 70 year old Technical Manuals for the Army Airforce of World War II. When I had finished entering everything (pictures, Descriptions, and details of price, etc.), and hit enter I got a nasty message that I was Not allowed to post these items..and to "not try to post them again". When I had looked these items up before, there were many of the same manuals posted with no problems, so I checked again , and the same manuals are still offered for sale. Why is ebay giving me a hard time, is it something personal ??? I have been selling here for years, and have never had a problem. Please help, I rely on you guys !! If you know where I can place a complaint, please let me know, thanks again.

Try to follow me here.
Step one: Enter title and IS/ Barcode info. Submit.
eBay either says "OK, proceed" or "STOP- Prohibited item! See eBay policy on prohibited items HERE for further information".
For a company that's just in love with adding as many clicks as possible and then some to EVERY operation, it would be a no- brainer.

This is similar to something that happened to me a year ago . I check to see if item is selling/sold on Ebay - item had sold in past. I checked for prohibited items - items listed alphabetically. Item wasn't on list so I listed item to sell. First item sold at auction right away, so I listed 2nd item - sold at auction right away. A few weeks later I get e-mail saying they're pulling listing cause prohibited item ( items had already sold, but now they don't show in my selling history, and lost the positive feedback). I just checked the prohibited list again. This item doesn't show up in list (and several people are currently selling this item right now). It's only when you click on + Read our full policy that the prohibited item in question shows up. I thought I had done my due diligence, but I'll be more careful in the future, knowing that information is not shared where you would think it would be.

I feel that if these things are restricted we should be stopped when we enter the title, and not after all our work is done.I don't think anyone here would argue with that.
Until you hit enter Ebay has no clue you are trying to list something not approved. It's more of a common sense thing to understand that's how it works.
Absolutely not true or we wouldn't get warnings before we hit submit.
