Listing fee if item doesn’t sell question

I have a question! I know once you have used up your free listings you get charged 30c! If say my auction doesn’t sell do I get charged another 30c for relisting so 60c now and so on or is it a 1 time 30c charge when item sells?

You would be charged a fee each time the item lists/relists.

My question is .. why is the OP paying 30 cents for insertions when he only has 38 items listed and 11 completed items? Is he paying for a listing upgrade of some sort?

I have six selling accounts with 1200 total listings and I haven't paid an insertion fee in ages.

Re: Listing fee if item doesn’t sell question

If you don't have a Store subscription and if you have used up your free insertions (or if you list in a second category), the insertion fee is 35 cents, not 30 cents.

When a fixed price listing rolls over each month, or if you relist an auction-format listing, it will use up one of your free insertions if available; otherwise you are charged the insertion fee.

If you use any listing upgrades (such as subtitle or second category), those also are charged every time you relist or when a fixed price listing rolls over.

I'm assuming that the OP is just asking for clarification and future reference.

Yes a listing fee is charged every time you list the item.  Unless you have a lot to list the free listing you get each month should cover it.

That could be.

I was distracted by the amount being 30 cents, because I thought a non-store account pays 35 cents.

I just assumed he did not pay for a store with so few listings.
