I see no history of any kind of the ID you're posting with, so there should be a low limit. What are you wanting to sell and for how much?

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

I am having the same issue and I am not a new seller. I called Ebay last night and they said it is a glitch and should be fixed in a couple hours but it is still happening today. It is not only you.

You would have to be more specific as to your question. If everyone else is lower than you want for yours it won't sale anyway.

Your last FB as a seller was 'more than a year ago', so yes, you are a new seller for the purpose of seller limits. Again, what are you trying to list and for how much?

Is this for real? I am a new seller now? I have a necklace I listed no problem that I started pretty high. Did eBay change the rules again? Not to rant on an old topic but I stopped selling consistently after the original CEO left back in the good old days. All I want to do is clean out my closet right now. This is unreal if they are going to set my selling price.

They're not setting your selling price. They're just limiting how much you can list at once.

Why? I apologize if I am not understanding. So, they limit how many items I can sell or force me to do a Best Offer? I want an auction because the items are popular. I have been with eBay for like 20 years. I have another account too.

You can unclick the best offer while using the advanced SYI form.
Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

Best offer is something ebay instituted if they think your price is too high. If you do not want to accept best offers, auto decline all offers under that amount.
Have you had an selling transactions in the last 6 months? If not you are considered a new sellers. And with new sellers ebay restricts how much you can list, and for how much, until you can prove you know what you are doing. It is a counter measure to scammers who would come on and list a bunch of high priced items they did not have, and then run off with the money.

What amount is it that, that eBay sets for listings and money wise if you haven’t sold in 6 month?
Thanks

You have to look at your seller dashboard. eBay gives us all different limits. No one here knows what yours is. There isn’t a set limit for all sellers who haven’t sold in 6 months.

Nope, you didn’t miss anything.
I haven’t sold anything on this account, and it’s been 6 years since I sold on my selling ID yet my unit on THIS ID is an astounding $5,000!!!! If OP is running into selling limits hers must be under $5k right? And she’s sold in the last year from the sounds of it.
