Thank you for the infusion of positive energy. I believe that all experienced sellers see the pro's and the con's of online selling that exist no matter what platform you use to sell.
Over the years, eBay has made many changes that have generally created higher seller fees and costs. Sellers have had to keep on top of eBay and marketplace changes along with increased shipping costs to remain competitive. It is a challenge. For some it has become more of a burden than a creative and interesting challenge and they sadly have left and moved on.
Adaptation and making sure that you have a buffer for the inevitable cost of doing business when something goes wrong is necessary to survive.
In addition, keeping an even emotional stance when the inevitable frustration happens is critical. I have learned that getting all worked up over stuff I cannot change just makes selling online miserable.
I have found the eBay community a huge source of both information and support. The folks here are happy to share their experience and don't hesitate offer their wisdom regarding common selling pitfalls.
