Just this evening Invoices started to have "Contact me for payment methods to pay on pick-up" in the instruction window. I seldom put anything in there to begin with and the items ( 4 of them) were all Auctions that ended generating the Send invoice function ... and every single one of the invoices had that message in the window, put there by eBay. NONE of the items (toys & train cars) had Local Pick up as an option and ALL had Calculated shipping with the cost showing on the invoice.
Anyone esle seeing messages in the instruction window you did not put there?

I am convinced ebays programmers don’t test anything.

Too funny. Their latest purge is trying to find evidence of contact info because that means the sale is "going off eBay" in their minds... then, lo and behold, this "glitch" appears almost prompting contact info messages...
How "ironic".

Are you sure that you didn't add that to a prior invoice? It will retain what you enter in there.

@d-k_treasures No, never added that to any invoices ... and the last Local pick up was weeks ago PLUS, every Local Pick up I have sold was purchased through Paypal and I never saw any invoices.

It's probably meant to be an "example" but like most of their coding it goes wrong lol
Does it vanish if you type a character in the box?
Good question and I will check the next time it appears ... when I go in the window I simply highlght the whole sentence and delte it.

@ripcityresell LOL! Asked and answered! Never typed it in, all L.P. sales were paid through PP, never saw an invoice needing to be sent. If eBay was adding that note for L.P. sales I was oblivious to it. Nobody contacted me either, they just used PP ...
I suspect it is programming, I also suspect that during Relisitng in Bulk Editor is when it is happening since that is how I Relist most items. And since the items in question are from numerous different categories and get Relisted at different times I think it is part of the Relist function where eBya's programming turns things on and off unsolicited.
This just started this week ... if I learn anything new I will post here.
