If you have used the new login page and selected "login with Facebook" ... then I would say you may be compromised.
If you have never used the "Login with Facebook" from the eBay login page, then there is no way that they are connected.
The hack is exploited through the Facebook third-party login token ... so, check your third party permissions and delete the Facebook token, if it is there.

Facebook said that the problem "would also affect its "Facebook Login" service, which allows other apps to use people's Facebook account to login."
"What about apps that use Facebook login?
Guy Rosen (Facebook's VP/Product Management), said on a conference call that hackers would also have access to any app that was linked to your account as well."

Facebook has said that any app login links should be unlinked and then relinked.
"50 million Facebook accounts have been hacked and victims could also have had accounts on thousands of other services compromised."
-Guy Rosen Facebook VP/Product Management
Yet the Facebook director of cybersecurity policy, Nathaniel Gleiche said in a press conference, "We're talking about 90 million user accounts here."
Typical of these events, the number of people affected usually grows as time goes by.
"Our investigation is still very early, so we don't yet know exactly the scope of the misuse and how and if accounts were actually misused." -Facebook Guy Rosen
September 16 2018 was the date Facebook claims they knew of the breach, September 25 2018 was the public announcement, yet July 2017 was when they think the actual hack took place, over a year the hackers had access before it was discovered.

I'm really surprised that anyone still uses FaceBook with all the Russia connections.

"The latest hack involved bugs in Facebook's "View As" feature, which lets people see how their profiles appear to others. The attackers used that vulnerability to steal the digital keys, known as "access tokens," from the accounts of people whose profiles were searched for using the "View As" feature. The attack then moved along from one user's Facebook friend to another. Possession of those tokens would allow attackers to control those accounts."

... and the lies they continued to tell AFTER the fact.
You Gave Facebook Your Number For Security. They Used It For Ads

I don't think I ever gave them a phone number. They keep asking for a mobile number and I don't have one I can give them so I keep saying "Not Now" and it goes away for awhile and then starts dogging me for it again.

I gave them the phone number to the White House (easily googled), and have NEVER used my Facebook login anywhere but there.
But after the Cambridge Analytica scandal, their use of private phone numbers to target ads, and this 100 million (probably) user security breach ... I’ll soon be deleting my account.

I'm really surprised that anyone ever used FaceBook.
It is a great resource for a Social Media Investigator.
