I was packaging a sweater for shipping, when I discovered a stain I had not seen before. I messaged buyer, explained situation, and she was agreeable to me trying to get stain out before shipping. I did get the stain out, but it delayed shipping past my usual time. Ebay has a label on the order saying-late shipping. I don't selll much but I have an excellent record. Is this going to hurt me?
Also there were some questions on another item. I have answered the questions, but a box saying Unaswered Questions and Please Resond is showing up on my view over the listing. How can I get eBay to recognize that I have answered the questions? Thanks a lot.

Sorry this happened, OP, but really try to inspect thoroughly before listing.
Carefully check it over, really looking for any damage.
This is to keep you from being in this same situation again and earning another late shipping.
You can also increase your handling time in case of another snafu like this one.

I have hundreds of those "unanswered" thingys. I just ignore them. You have no obligation to answer any question, eBay doesn't keep track of whether you answer, it doesn't mean anything.
