So, I have listed an item on three occasions only to have it removed each time as being a medical device requiring a prescription -- it is a Bluetooth device that can be used with hearing aids. It does not require a prescription -- I am an Audiologist and am 100% sure of that. After each removal I contact E-Bay and they tell me it was an error and they approved my appeal to relist. I relist and it gets removed.
Anybody else had this problem and what did you do?

You can contact eBay via social media with a private message:
AND-OR
great customer service reps on these sites

I would be very careful though about relisting even if they say it is OK. I do not trust e bay for a nano second to back you up when they decide to suspend your account for relisting it one day.

Gave you considered rewording the title to remove what might be a brand name or overly descriptive purpose? Some one who needs one can surely read between the lines.

Right now you are between the rock and the hard place. The only safe move is to not relist until you speak to one of the “good” customer service reps on eBay’s Facebook, as recommended upthread. Do not relist because cumulative removals can get your account indefinitely restricted with no appeal possible.

Humans may correctly tell you the item is acceptable, but the robots that are taking it down are less likely to listen to common sense.
And if you keep listing it here, you may find yourself with a Defect.

Pretty soon you won't have to worry about eBay taking down your post. They will PERMANENTLY suspend you and you will be looking at a posting your items on the RIVER or FB. Good luck

It's probably just due to the bots picking up a word in your title, specifics, or description. We mistakenly listed some books with medical terms a few times that it rejected similarly, saying we were trying to list unapproved medical treatments. Changing the title fixed the issue in those cases, but of course it's somewhat risky as others have pointed out to keep relisting without contacting customer service (we only tried a single time).
