I signed up for the yearly subscription which was supposed to renew in August. I just realized that ebay changed me to the monthly rate of $349 then.

Anyone have this happen? Am I supposed to sleect yearly every year? I thought I was paying $299 but I havent been. So they opt you out? I certainly didnt change anything.

@pb*bikes, yes there was another seller who posted here in the last week to 10 days complaining of the same problem/issue. I'll try to find the thread if I can, but the forum search function stinks so don't hold your breath.

IIRC, that poster was going to call eBay and try and get it straighted out as the "mis-charging" had been going on for a few months. I don't remember if the poster came back and updated the forum. If can find the thread, I'll post a link to it, but you might just want to call eBay and raise a fuss. I know I would.

Thanks, I never changed it but have been charged an additional $50 since october.

The OP did call, and said they would credit her for the over-payments. However, keep in mind eBay CSRs say a lot of things and don't follow through. So, even if you're told the error will be corrected, I'd keep an eye on my account to make sure the credit does come through.

BTW, most likely any "fee adjustment" will just be issued as a credit to your eBay account balance, and not a refund. That's what others with similar issues have said happens. Only way you "get a refund" is if you close your account and have a credit balance, apparently. Typical.

Yes I see that I would have had to physically change it to go to monthly but they did that for me and have been charging me an extra $50 month for about 8 months. This will be fun

It should have renewed automatically, according to ebay, unless you cancel.

"3. Subscription Renewals
Your Stores subscription is automatically renewed by the length of your subscription term, unless you cancel your subscription. A monthly subscription is automatically renewed each month until you cancel it. Likewise, a yearly subscription is automatically renewed each year until you cancel it."

So it seems that ebay goofed and owes you an adjustment on your bill.
