Don't know. It is not how most new listings are handled. But when it does take a long time to see them on the site, there is some kind of review going on in the background. When I use to sell Fragrances, some of my listings would take a few hours to show up too.

Aw, thanks about the earrings! Yeah do I hear ya on the $ situation- I'm a pet-sitter- a very NON Covid-proof profession...
Thanks so much for checking that search term! That's so odd...... I'd be perfectly happy with that except- no one's plugging in that phrase (at least not into Google- maybe into eBay, but not likely. "Mauve earrings", however, gets about 250 searches monthly so it needs to show up for that. And it SHOULD considering that's the title and especially if I put in all the filters. I just don't get this..
I have bunches more stuff that I want to be putting up every day but if only they'd show up!!
I checked out the items you have up for sale and then quickly had to get out of there cuz... did I mention money is bad right now? Lol. You have lots of cute stuff omg! I favorited your shop tho so I can visit later 🙂
Thank you thank you!

Oh- And... I don't think it would be due to the periods because I always use those in my regular listings on my other account......

And isn't it weird when you see gorgeous earrings and then they're like $3 with free shipping and you're like wait... there's something going wrong with that right?!

Lovely!! I bet they are SUPER fun to make! Dang it about your hands.... yikes that's my fear. Well hey they're making more progress with medical stuff all the time so you never know! I'll be hoping they get better for you!!! 💕

I might suggest you lead your titles with WHAT you are selling, not the color. The WHAT is extremely important and should always appear first.
When you use the word "long" in your title, make sure the word dangle comes after it or at least somewhere in the title. Dangle and Drop are great words in your titles for these types of earrings.
Measurements are another great thing to have in your title and your description. How long are the dangles. 1", 2" or whatever they are.
Mentioning California in the title isn't important. The type of beads used would be great.
Remember, think like a buyer when you are creating your title. What might a buyer put in the search box when trying to find earrings like this.
Your titles are the most important thing about a listings, pictures are a close second.

Just a suggestion. Google search is more particular than the Ebay search.
For example Google doesn't like more than three words in all capital letters. They don't like words that are repeated, no matter what they are either.

Gotcha! Thanks for clarifying and yep.. I can only wish I had items that expensive to sell haha!
This is so bizarre...
A little bit ago I started panicking and saying "they're nowhere to be found!!" And then I was like "wait- calm down... your actual earrings are sitting next to you on the bookshelf, see? It's just the listings aren't showing up" 😆
(I've obviously been at this too long.......)
Thx!!

So, being new is likely part of it? Hopefully that's all it is and it will show up for my search term soon!

Thank you for your kind thoughts. it is a work in progress. It is my index finger on my left hand and the little finger on my right hand that give me the most trouble. And they can get quite painful. So far we haven't found anything to help, but we will try again next month when I see the doc again.
Sad thing is just before my hands went crazy on me, my husband bought be a beautiful roll around fabric craft box. Big with lots of pockets and spaces to keep me organized. I love it. But I can only mostly admire it right now.

Oh that's so sad! But again, hang in there. My neighbor's a nurse here at Stanford and she is blown away by the speed that they keep discovering things medically.. it's almost like daily now......
I'll be hoping for the best for you!!

Hi! Well I'm pretty into SEO (search engine optimization) and keyword research.. so I'm going with the keywords I've discovered get the highest searches. But I will certainly play around with the ideas you mentioned here! The mystery of it though is.. when I put in the exact name of my title and then I put a bunch of filters that are applicable to my listing, they are not showing up. That has never happened in anything I've ever listed before and it's happening on all six items. We're now passed 48 hours and still nothing. So weird!

Your listings are publicly live... I can see them on your profile and that means they are indexed should show up in search results.
08-19-2022 02:54 AM
Took me all of 2 seconds to find you listing.
Zero filters applied. Only a portion of your title used.
Using filters (especially too many filters) is going to exclude your listing if you mess 1 tiny thing up.
Like I think I said before or maybe it was a different thread...
If you go to your profile and click "Items for Sale" ... if your listing appears there, then it is publicly active/live and searchable. Doesnt mean you will find it, but it's there.
