Items listed with more than 1 item available

I have an auction with 2 available, set up with buyer pays $10 shipping. The buyer bought 2, but only paid for one shipping. They are small items that fit into a small flat rate box, just barely. I cant put 4 in the same box. Why was the buyer not charged twice for shipping?

I "think" you need to adjust the shipping on the original listing in the little box that says "Additional"...you must have put 0.00 in that box

The way ebay shipping works is  it will combine shipping and charge the same as 1 as long as the weight limit of the shipping service is not exceeded.

I use regional A boxes that have a 15 LB weight limit a lot and if only 1 widget will fit on a multi quantity listing I set the weight at 8 lbs, if 2 widgets will fit I set the weight at 6lbs, the buyer will then be charged  for however many "A" boxes it takes.

There are other ways to do this but I find this the simplest.

On any listing where I am not sure how the shipping calculator will figure multi qty purchases I use a different ebay account and put different numbers in the cart and go to checkout and see what it came up with.

The additional shipping was left at zero. My bad. But the buyer has claimed that his mailbox will accommodate only a small flat rate box, barely. I cannot fit 2 items into this box. I feel like I am being set up by a buyer who will end up providing negative feed back. There is no way I can fulfill what he wants. I sent him a msg saying we can cancel and refund. I was in this type of situation several years ago. A buyer  bought and paid for a local pick up only item, then demanded I ship it. I cancelled the order after he cussed at me in msgs.  He left negative feed back, which is still on record. EBAY refused to help.  Non existant seller support that they have. I quit selling on ebay for several years, sold elsewhere. Back to ebay recently and buyer  problems once again.
