I have had an issue very much lately over the past few weeks. Even though I pay my ebay shop seller bill every month up until now views have been ok or atleast predictable. Now I get 0 views on almost all items or two horizontal lines or dashes for items. On top of that If i type in the search box my item word for word. It will not come up as existing at all! and if it does its way at the bottom of the list of which makes 0 sense as it is usually in the middle at least and should be at the top since i typed it in word for word. What is eBay up to here? I pay them each month for what? Nothing now. No sales no nothing. The only ones that actually get views or sell are the ones i purposely add the extra promoted/sponsored ad on of which i pay them even more money per item. I hope others are having this issue and its not just a few of us or me. eBay please respond with why this happening and the progress/plan you have to fix this! At this rate I am going to shut down my shop and go over to discogs if you keep yanking my chain week after week with no income but you expect the same bill to be paid.

I just checked your first 2 items. They came up fine.
Yes, there is a problem with views, but it does not mean buyers cannot see your listings.

I just searched for two of your items using only 4 words from the title, found both.
The views issue is a site wide problem with the tracking software, my listings are showing no views on and off but I'm making sales even on listings with supposed no views which means the view counters are broken but buyers can still search, find, view and buy.

Did you read the replies. Another seller and I had no problems finding his listins.
It was not ebay's fault.
They are readily being seen.
And I am wondering if some posters are doing this to get people here to look at their items and hopefully buy something.

I'm having the same rediculous problem for 8 or 9 days now. How long does it take to fix?

I started a thread under another title, but some folks thought it was funny.
I listed an item this AM, and this afternoon, when I got back on eBay, it said I had 2901 views. Now, this evening, it has two dashes.
There must be a site-wide problem, and it needs to get fixed.

I am in no way doing that. I dont look to a seller community forum for sales. I look for answers for queries of known issues. The views count issue needs to get fixed. They are taking a bit long here in my opinion on this. Ive been having this issue for a good amount of time now.

You also stated your listings were not coming up in search despite you typing in your whole title.
Did that resolve itself?

Please give an item number on one you are having a problem with.
Posters will be able to see if they can find it.

i did not check all of my items mind you i just picked two random ones and when i tried it they didnt show up at all. Granted some may pop up as you say. no doubt. But there definitely seems to be an issue with views and needs to be fixed.
The view counters are broken, it's not the first time and it won't be the last time.
That said, you can't eat views or buy anything with them and the fact remains that although the views numbers are currently affecting ALL sellers there are still plenty of sales happening.
Looking at your items (I know a few things about records) and looking at your recent sales I can see that your sales have remained slow but steady, pretty much what you would expect given you have only a small number of listings and many are very common items. Looking at your feedback (the only measure of sales that I have access to) there appears to be a slow decline and that's almost certainly because your better items have sold and the overall quality/demand for what's left is fading away.
It's pretty much a fact that in the record category if you list quality items you get sales, if you list mediocre items or set high prices sales will dwindle. In a traditional B&M record store new releases (even if they are older re-issued titles) are what makes the world turn, the deep catalogue just sit in the bins and trickle out the door.
Another thing about your record listings, your grading is very bad on several I looked at, a record with "handful of scuffs and very minimal scratching" is NOT EX, a record described as " in great shape" is ridiculous. Serious buyers won't touch sellers who clearly overgrade and describe in vague terms.
