Item specifics - department only has 'men' and the item I am posting is 'unisex'

I have updated almost all of my listings, but 2 of them keep popping up that they need item specifics soon that are required.  I sell mostly clothing & accessories, and these 2 are both items that I'm having trouble with.  One is a very large messenger bag, and the other is a very large leather backpack.  I believe the 'Department' for both should be 'unisex', but the only item specific that is allowable is 'men'.  And what if I thought they were for 'women'?  In any case, I cannot add a different Department.

   

 

Any ideas?  Thanks for your help.

We have the same issue with Crocs and some Birks.

We had to choose by color (i.e. Pink in womens category) and use Unisex in the title showing womens size and mens sz in title also.  Eats up precious title space.   DS wears pink crocs- half the tennis team got them in pink or neon yellow.

Unisex should be a choice for about any product.   Just like gender for a toy or race for a doll should have more choices or eliminated all together.
