Ok, just got a message from a buyer saying she did not receive her package that was shown as delivered July 22 by USPS. Claims she has talked to her mail person and they said they have no idea where it is. She has a community mail box. She is saying they told her my specific package was returned back to seller, umm sure they did. i told her if for any reason it was sent back to seller that would show up in the tracking and the reason would be given. She has not filed a case, what if anything do i need to do. At this point I just feel like just ignoring her emails that she won't stop sending.

You don't need to do anything unless your buyer opens an item not received case.
If that happens respond to the case with tracking number showing delivery to your buyer.
You can send her a screen shot of the tracking information showing that it was delivered, that might end the barrage of messages.

Not necessarily, you will probably win the case if you shipped to the address given by eBay, but I would work with the buyer to help.
Note - If buyer was a scammer, they would have filed on July 23rd, but this seems like a buyer that doesn't watch tracking.

At the very least, was tracking provided through eBay to show proof of shipping, if so, this is on buyer to act, not you. You shipped and item was it shows delivered. Maybe parcel was placed on wrong box, stolen, misplaced, etc. At the very least, you have proof of delivery. It has been 14 days since delivery, I find it odd that buyer seems complacent to the tracking of his parcel. Maybe they are trying to see if you provide them a refund. At any rate, if they file a item not received case against you, you need to reply back with the tracking information, eBay will side with you as long as it shows delivered.
Good luck.

She has to open a claim of item not received.
"community mail box"...what might that be?
"delivered July 22nd"...and just now getting back to you?
"returned back to seller"...if it gets returned it will state on package why it was returned.
A mail person of USPS probably wouldn't remember that far back...it would be best for her to visit her post office with tracking number.
I would ignore the emails...

OK thanks. It was sent to the right address and shows delivered the 22nd. I am just going to ignore her now.
Her husband chimed in to say they were told that my package to them was definitely sent back to me lol. Also not sure why they waited 2 weeks to email me about the package. If she does file a case i will just upload the tracking number and be done with it. Thanks for the input

Generally it's seen in housing developments, planned communities and such, where mailboxes for the immediate area (such as all the houses sharing a common driveway or cul de sac) are grouped into a single block or cabinet of locked mailboxes mounted on a post near the entrance. If someone gets a package that's too big for the individual mailbox, the carrier puts the package into a large-capacity box below the singles, and then puts the key for that box into the addressee's mailbox, so that they can open the big box and get their package out.
There's a specific Delivery Confirmation entry on the carrier's scanner to denote when a package was delivered to a lockbox for retrieval, although the carrier might not bother to specify that at delivery time.

Yes I have that mailbox myself with a bigger box for packages and a key to get into it.
I am just going to see if they keep emailing me or open a case.
thanks

I understand generally...but here we don't know exactly what is meant by the phrase "community mail box".
Me living in such communities which can be large in my past...they have locked mailboxes...they also have an office with employees who accept packages in the planned community during the hours of package deliveries. When I read "community mail box"...ne now living in San Francisco...I think of a house or whatever with several families or just people in general living together...i.e. 'community mail box'.

Understand...but there is usually a community property manager office on the property as well...at least when I lived in Vegas, Chicago, L.A and Florida who accepts any packages which relate to the community but may not have the correct apartment number or deliveries too large to put in a box...i.e. I had furniture delivered to me as such when I lived in Vegas.
I guess I am thinking more of a 'hippie commune' as in San Francisco where several people live in a 7 bedroom house here...A few people I know live that way.

That is exactly what mine looks like and i live in Florida in a single family home community. It is filled by the mail person and packages are left in a bigger box with a key left in my personal slot. I just assumed that was what she meant by community mail box. She insisted that her mail person told her the package , my exact package, was returned to me which it has not been and nothing indicates that was the case.

If the package was truly returned to sender tracking would indicate it.
