Item not showing up in search, can I change someting in the listing?

I listed a pair of Dr Scholls ladies shoes, size 9 today.  When I search for dr scholls womens shoes, select 9, then arrange by newly listed, I see 400+ results, with those listed 4-1, then those listed 3-31, and so on.  My shoes do not show up in this search.  Can anyone offer a reason why?  Is there something I need to change in the listing?

You have revised that listing 4 times. Stop revising it.  When you revise a listing, it has to go back in the indexing queue.

The search is working fine right now.

If your sales are ever slow, blame it on the search.

That's one of the top excuses sellers use when sales are slow.

Hi, it can take up to 24 hours for a new listing to show up in Search results. And if it is revised, it can add to the delay, as another poster mentioned.
