Buyer disputing transaction, but...

Ebay notified me a couple weeks ago that a buyer is disputing a transaction - she opened the dispute the day the item was scanned as delivered. According to the email it's a fraudulent transaction and she did not recognize it. The thing is, she left positive feedback for that transaction! I immediately contacted customer service to let them know this because obviously I want the dispute closed in my favor and they were totally unhelpful - basically told me just to let the dispute run its course.

It's now been two weeks and it's STILL an open case. Why have they not closed it? Has anyone else had this happen?

Feedback is not proof. People can do it on automatic. It’s not swearing on a Bible.

If it was delivered to buyer’s address, you’re good.

Wait it out and appeal if you lose. The DC scan should make you golden.

Did customer disputed charges with her "credit card company"?   If yes, EBAY has no authority over credit card company.   Credit card companies will rule in favor of their customer.

I was not an item not received complaint. It was delivered to the buyers address.

That is not an INR request/claim.

Did you also put the tracking information in the dispute? That might trigger her memory.

That it shows delivery to her address can be considered a defence against an unrecognized purchase.
