I filled out the item specifics for 138 listings yesterday and now they are showing as item specifics required. Even if i check the box that says dont show again it puts them back to needing specifics. Any idea what to do?

I'm not sure I understand. There are required and recommended item specifics. If they are required you MUST fill them in or they won't post.
Are you saying you did fill them in and they are still showing as required?

yep, ive called CS multiple times about this but they dont seem to care.

The only time my numbers didn't reduce was if I missed one of several required specs on a listing. Some required one and others would require several and I'd miss seeing that once in awhile.

Did the numbers reduce along the way as you revised them? I did all of mine one at a time.

Yep and the next morning they are all back in the IS recommended

OK,help me with my Issue have filled out ALL required item specifics ( 300+ items). Now I see recommended item specifics now down to 250+. When I pull up the pages where I see recommended item specifics across the page I see the following columns Action,Photo,A Description of the Listing then a column with the heading item specifics small circle in column that when highlighted states in this column you can add missing required or recommended item specifics. If you have completed this information you will see a dash in the column. Ok I see dash after many of my listings. If I have completed the required actions why are they still listed as requiring some action? Have tried customer service. Help

I had this happen also where these items are in the To Do List for item specifics but in the IS column, they have a dash instead of a number of IS required. And what's worse, when you try to check the box for Don't Remind Me, there is no box!
Solution: Bulk close those listings. Then go to your Unsolds and bulk Relist them. This fixes the glitch and you will now have the number of IS in the Add Item Specifics column, and what's even better is that you will have the Do Not Disturb check box and it works.
This happened to me on 2 of my accounts and the above process fixed it.
