My question is when eBay removes an item for intellectual property. They never state the real reason. Intellectual property cover s a wide range. It is nice to know exactly why it was removed so that the same mistake is not made again. eBay states that they can remove you permanently if you have too many. If you don't know what the problem is how can it be fixed. The companies that have items removed by ebay, should first contact the seller and give them a chance to remove the item before going straight to ebay. It's called good business. Then if the seller won't remove it then have ebay step in.

What item was removed? Did you use any pictures or text (description) you found somewhere on the web?

Not very practical, as that would take lots of man hours to find problems.
The MFG is under no obligation to ask you to remove the item.

They are using stock photos and stock MFG text.

Sellers need to read a little before listing.
It is spelled out, if you bother to look
Or you can even ask here.
And it should be pretty obvious you cannot plagarize someone's text and steal their photos without repercussion.

The OP seems to be a drop shipper, and often they can use MFG photos and text.
With no details, we are just shooting in the dark.

In my experience eBay gives a pretty good explanation of why an item is removed.
Can you post the exact text of the message you received? Perhaps we can interpret it for you.

You're right~have seen some very explicit and specific messages posted that spelled out exactly why the item was removed.

Ebay does not have to tell you the fine deatils.
You as a seller should KNOW what is okay to list and what isn't.

Actually, under copyright law you are required to have permission from the rights owner prior to using the material.
