It is a shame that Ebay no longer cares one bit about it's customers.

Ebay's policy of extracting every single penny they can by no longer allowing combined shipping or combined orders is ridicules.   The "ebay international shipping" is a joke.  Put two items in one box and they lost the shipment.  Ebay is refusing to refund the second item.  The customer will file a "did not receive" and ebay will steal my money to reimburse them.   Over 3 hours of combined time on the phone and all I get is "file a claim".  It's downright infuriating how ebay treats customers.

I switched back to eBay International Standard Delivery within a week of switching. I lost $400 in sales the first weekend after switching because it would not combine. It might be a good deal for sellers that sell one item at time, but my customers tend to combine multiple items to save on shipping, so I opted out.

Did your buyers pay for each item separately?  If so, they are supposed to be shipped separately as they each have their own transaction number for EIS.

If they were paid for at the same time in the cart and you shipped together, you should fight it as that is allowed according to the EIS info.

Did they ever? Also want to note that ebay buyers are customers too. You even said it in your OP (red). Sounds like that customer was cared for by ebay.
