Issues with the expertise of the so called Authenticity department

It is funny that these called authenticators are suppose to be professional experts in the items being inspected for authenticity and condition. Has three Gucci sneakers declined by the department stating wrong size indicated in listing. Called customer service and told them to look at Neimans, Saks, Nordstroms to see how they sized their shoes. Anyone that buys men's Gucci or suppose to be experts knows that Gucci is in UK sizing and not US sizing. These are the professionals many sellers send to get authenticated and examined? Asked Jacob, a customer service about this plus another issue and got his take protect authenticity department, he answered what e-bay scripted for him to say then when I stated next issue he would not comment on the issues with sizing. All a sham. If I ever get a customer service person named Jacob which I have a few times, click. No wonder many sellers do not get things authenticated. I am sure there are going to be a barrage of sellers stating they did not have problems but in my book 3 strikes your out.

Gucci currently uses a “G” size. The “G” size = the U.K size. On current Gucci sneakers and shoes the US size is 1/2 size higher than the G size. However they may actually fit 1 size larger than the “G” size. If you check the EUR sizes on current Gucci, fit aligns more with the US/EUR size in equivalent fit.  So a G10 would be a US 10.5(which is a EUR 44 in Gucci) but may fit more like a US 11. So a EUR 44 aligns typically more with a US 11 than a 10.5. 

Having said that, you have to list by the G size marked on the shoes and the box.

And that is what I did but the so called authenticity department the experts stated that the shoes and box show for example 10 G which is US 10 which is incorrect. Thus three men's shoes returned for incorrect sizing. Asked Jacob, why this occurred not once but three times, he would not answer yet when a handbag was authenticated and found to be authentic but expected to be perfect  in every way, he could not stop talking about the authenticator response. Even when I mentioned and took pick of the issues and the authenticator stated was not mentioned in auction and no picks were taken.
