Hmmm. Got a second email in my' inbox of emails' for this survey.

One yesterday and one today.

Is it fake?

Has anyone else got one?

This was not in my eBay.

And, further...is eBay giving out our information to others?

I get things like that all the time. They are real. Sometimes the surveys are run by third parties and, as shown in your screenshot, there is info about confidential responses and a link to the privacy policy that can answer your questions in more detail. But the surveys are from eBay, no matter what company was hired to conduct the research.

Just hover your mouse pointer over the embedded links (do not / not click them) and see where they resolve.  

If it's anywhere other than ebay.com, delete.

You can also forward to eBay (spoof@ebay.com, if I am not mistaken).

ebay does not give anything away but it would surprise me if they have not already sold it

Websites frequently use third party survey companies - they are supposed to strip/ redact personal information when compiling results. I can't read your image (taking a screenshot and posting would be a lot better than taking a snapshot of your monitor), but I did use to have a side gig doing surveys. That's all I know.

I received one yesterday and another today on both accounts.  I looked at the link it came from -- legit.  I looked over the survey but didn't bother -- too afraid to answer truthfully and have sales come to a halt.  I just paid my tuition for this semester and need the eBay funds to eat.  I've never seen this survey before yesterday-- looks like they're trying out something new.

This an urban myth - none of us are important enough for eBay to code in a special procedure to restrict our sales because we answered a certain way on some survey. If they did, I wouldn't have sold anything.
