Is this a free country or not? I can't sell something that I own?? VeRO Infringement?????

This is what eBay sent me. "Your listing was removed: VeRO Infringement Policy

We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our VeRO Infringement Policy. Violating the intellectual property rights of a rights owner is not allowed."

So I e-mail the company and they answer me saying that my listing is a violation of Intellectual Properties Law.  And That's all they say!

This seems so unconstitutional to me!  This was an old Direct TV receiver.  I listed it as used and they say I broke some law??  If we go by what eBay says is a violation, then anything that has Intellectual property or Copyrights or Trademarks is illegal to resell! 

Does anyone know if I can do anything about this?

Yeah DirecTV emailed me back and gave me permission to sell them. I won't be listing anything like that again. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't in trouble. Thanks

Well I talked tho them and they said I can sell them. I own them. They are the commercial version of the receiver.

If u were told that u could resell chances r they were try 2 get u to stop bothering them because u r wrong whether u realize it or not. But u may check with another on line selling site
I am only wondering how u obtained multiple cable boxes
