I am looking to sell something on eBay but I am nervous about people seeing my real address. Is there anyway around this? I'm just weird about people seeing where I live and such. Are there any options for me? I didn't know if there was any options like maybe finding someone to sell it for me and paying them something, or if there were any stores that would upload your stuff for you and sell it, and use their address.
Thanks!

And yet you will get to see the buyer's real address.
Seems a tad paranoid and shady.
BUT you could "rent an address" from the UPS. They advertise that you will have a "real address" yet it would be the equivalent of a P O Box.
Not sure what eBay would say about this though.

Get a PO Box and make it your primary address.

When I started selling on eBay I rented a PO box.

If you want to sell on eBay, then there needs to be a level of transparency regarding your contact information.

We have sold using a UPS mailing station address for over 10 years. I love using them. They sign for our returns, we have a huge mailbox, they give us amazing rates to ship UPS as we have a mailing station mailbox with them and USPS recognizes it as a valid mailing address. And ours is much cheaper than the PO box we used to have and about 16 times larger. lol
We have all sorts of things delivered there - boxes, supplies, etc. We also have 24 access and a code for the door and we get an email and text when new mail arrives, they sign for a parcel, etc.

I'll add another vote for a PO Box here. You can also use it for receiving your own purchases, and there's no place safer. No worries about a delivered package getting wet, lost or stolen.
I'm going to go out on a limb here, though, and guess that you're planning to sell a big-ticket item such as a game console or laptop. I would never recommend doing so as a first sale. You will be a magnet for scammers both before and after the sale. Better to start out small and gain experience as a seller with lesser items that you can afford to lose completely if things go seriously sideways. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask us here first.

I've been thinking,,,oh I know that's dangerous, lol, but a PO box will still have your name and people can Google that and usually come up with your address and phone number and a relative or two, if you're registered to vote and if you have property etc.
If you get a store subscription won't that name will be your name?
All this comes at a price. Monthly paid subscription and box rental isn't cheap. I just paid $70 to renew my PO box. I have no choice about that because my mailbox is a theft magnet located on a rural road in the middle of nowhere and out of view of my home. And no neighbors either. I don't care if they know my real name and see my other information and physical address but I was sick of getting mail stolen.
Hope you find a solution.

If you don't want to give it away, I'd sell it local.
You sell it here, there's a good chance you'll end up with nothing.

One of the higest scammed items on eBay. You will almost certainly get ripped off and lose the card.

Um, yeah, that's not going to end well. It's not that anyone will care where you live or try to track you down; they will be solely fixated on getting your graphics card without actually paying you for it, and there are several different scams you can encounter: text-me scams (never reply by texting or phoning an interested buyer, as it gives them your off-eBay contact info for fake notifications after that), overpayment scams (where you're asked to buy gift cards to enclose as a "birthday present" to someone), or bid-shielding scams (pushing an auction price way high, then retracting in the final seconds so the "winner" gets it for a low price). Post-sale, you also risk fake payment notifications, fake shipping damage claims or fake empty-box claims.
To be clear, the above is not how every eBay transaction goes, not at all. But if you're a new, low-feedback seller with a popular, big-ticket, highly-scammed item, the odds of a successful sale are not in your favor. You're better off selling that locally for cash.

For someone trying to remain anonymous and not have your home address known, one of the very first you should do is to stay away from the internet, let alone a buying and selling site where money changes hands/accounts. There are numerous digital tracking methods that can come up.
Also, please heed the advise that has been given regarding selling graphic cards, it is indeed a very sought after commodity and the propensity to be scammed. This type of item is best sold local and buyer pays cash upon pick up.
