HI!
Is there a way to have the old version of sell similar?
What do I need to do?
PLEASE someone tell me how I do this!
Please do not tell me I am up sh*** creek without a paddle.
Thank you😊

It would have been nice if eBay might have warned us ahead of time that the new listing tool was going to be downloaded to EVERYONE at a certain time and date, rather than just dumping it on us, without any warning.
It is NOT compatible with my old computer -- when I attempt to "sell similar," all I get is a colorful "ebay" at the top of the page, plus row after row of gray rectangles, constantly moving back and forth. When I called the Philippines, the techie with whom I spoke could not solve the problem, but confirmed that others were having similar issues.
And, of course, the timing of the download is just "perfect" -- right before holiday sales.
What a time to have to re-learn how to "create a sale" from scratch.
What's that old expression about "reinventing the wheel"?
Thanks for nothing, eBay.
Again.

I tried the new listing tool for the first time today, had no choice. I did not experience anything major (fingers crossed), but it does take more time with these drop downs, etc..will take some getting used to. It still takes much longer to list here. Time will tell.. Yes, you're 100% correct though. We all definitely have to get used to it.

Yes, clicking this link takes you to the old format.
Click the listing 'sell similiar' link and at the bottom
save for later. Then click this link, and then resume listing.
https://bulksell.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SingleList&forcetool=CUB&sellingMode=AddItem
The listing now resumes in the old format.

I got switched over, today.
The WORST thing was that UNSOLDS from 2 mos ago,
that I had deleted or relisted, appeared AGAIN in 'unsolds'.

If you keep working with it, it gets faster. It doesn't have the nice one-paging that the classic tool has, and this slows it down. The tool itself is faster than it was, though - previously it was jumping around, hanging up, etc. I used the beta version and then was an early opt-in - by then it was much better than the beta (which was terrible) but it has improved since then. Hopefully, this will be a trend.

I just came here to see if there was a way to switch back to the old version. The problem is that you have to be very careful not to pick up anything from your previous listing. Make sure you click on whatever you had before and then select clear all. It takes longer this way because you have to check every single "bubble" that you chose previously.

@stuff4divas wrote:@s.scharmu0 I don't know why so many sellers don't like it, I do. It's just a matter of getting familiar with it. I actually prefer it over the previous version.
Same here, honestly. I like that the photo uploads are much faster AND that you can upload multiple photos at a time instead of having to wait for each photo to finish uploading before you can add another.
I really don't understand why people keep saying that it's "slower"-- it doesn't take me any longer to list with than the old one did, and yes, I list on a desktop.
