when ALL shipping labels are purchased on ebay? (not through 'pending funds' but through the only other way, Paypal?
If I click on an 'order' after I've paid for a shipping label, it breaks down all my costs and what my 'net' is, including the shipping label- so ebay KNOWS what the label cost is, but I can't seem to find ANY way to get this on any report (so I can easily total it).

I have the same problem. Ebay will show what I collected from the buyer, but won't show what I actually paid for shipping. They are different amounts, as I estimate box size when I make the listing, but don't physically pack the item til it sells. I usually end up making a few bucks on shipping by overestimating. So ebay's transactions might show "$17.05" in the shipping and handling column, but my actual cost might only be $13. Outside of going through a year's worth of monthly credit card receipts looking for "payment to eBay shipping", I'd like to find a better solution as well. As the original poster said, they know what I paid to ship the item, because it's done through eBay. It would be great to find a more permanent solution.

Why not an Excel sheet with all the columns you need, entering data from Order Details every time you ship an order.

I could, and do something similar. I print out order details and at the end of the year enter it into my spreadsheet manually and add it all up, but it seems so inefficient. I only know to do this because I realized eBay didn't offer it (even though I'm sure they have the numbers), and had to ---let's say create--- numbers to submit to the IRS. There doesn't seem a logical reason why eBay can't/won't itemize my purchased shipping labels that I create via eBay, the same way they do for everything else in my gross transactions. I only had 200 sales last year so manual input is doable, but if I was doing 200 sales a month, both my method and your suggested method seems extremely prone to errors, and a massive waste of time. Sorry, but "enter it manually" in 2025 just doesn't seem like it's the best solution. It's not a cash register receipt that has to be entered manually. I never leave eBay to ship things.

Are you sure they do not?
Have you review your Transaction Reports? They show the entire distribution of the money paid by the buyer to everyone.
If you follow the report to the last entries on the far right it will tell you the Gross transaction Amount, a Reference ID and a Description. On this example for the second line the Amount is what was paid, the Reference is the Tracking Number and the Description is USPS
Date | Type | Order number | Buyer username | Buyer name | Ship to city | Ship to province/region/state | Ship to zip | CTY | Net amount | Payout date | Item ID | Transaction ID | Item title | Custom label | Quantity | Item subtotal | Shipping and handling | Final Value Fee - fixed | Final Value Fee - variable | International fee | Gross transaction amount | Reference ID | Description |

Huh. Only UPS shows up for me, and 90% of my transactions aren't UPS. Even if I exclude every option but shipping labels, so I only have a report for shipping labels, I have 5 shipping labels that show up in my transactions report, all of which are UPS. Last year I had close to 200 items shipped. I use a MasterCard to pay for labels, but have payouts sent to a bank account. Perhaps my few UPS transactions are on a different payment method? I don't know. I'll figure that out later. For now, taxes due tomorrow, so...
I really appreciate your suggestions. I'll post a screenshot of a little of what I'm referring to. It's a heck of a lot of "Order" and "Payout". Very few shipping charges or payouts. They're just not there.

Is it possible that the labels not on the report are the ones paid by Mastercard?
Maybe you had a few that were paid from available funds being processed.
eBay only reports on what they did with the money. By paying with a Mastercard even though you may purchase from the labels from eBay, that would not be on the Transaction Report. That is because eBay did not process the buyers money to the shipping company. You used your own money.
Since you used a Charge Card you should be able to get the information from your monthly Credit Card Statements. If you can open your Card Statements on line, sometimes you can cut and paste all the transactions into a single spread sheet and then sort and total what you need. I done this with over ten years of Medical Statements and was able to total everything very quickly once I copied everything.

If you look at my previous upload, it says April 9 I sold something, but didn't buy shipping. But I printed out my Seller Hub Order Details page for my April 9th transaction. I just took a photo and uploaded it here. Sorry about my broken lens, I have a new phone on order. I sold and shipped on the 9th, arrived on the 12th, I paid eBay/used eBay to pay USPS $12.06 to ship it via USPS Ground Advantage, as that's what the buyer selected. But it's not in my yearly transaction report. I have to use each of these printed pages to manually enter it. I don't know why it works for you and not for me, but unless I ship UPS, Ebay doesn't add it to my report. I might be shipping UPS exclusively, cause this is brutal.

Well, crap. I didn't mean to upload the one with the guy's address and name on it. I had a blurred one. Please, no one use this for nefarious reasons.

A different showing of purchased shipping.
I don't know if your labels would show on this page. It is only good for up to 90 days.

You can delete the image within 24 hours and repost it after you edit it.
But, yep, that is the way my Order Details looks. Occasionally I will purchase shipping from Pirate Ship and the cost of that is not going to show on the report. I manually write it in. But the report will show the shipping that was paid and the Tracking Number will be posted.

Thanks, but I have all the info. I learned to print a label, then print a packing slip, then print the order details, same as I just took a pic of and posted above. So I have every transaction's details in a manila folder in front of me. I just hoped there was a way that I was missing to get it automatically added to the transaction report, so that I didn't have to enter it manually. It sounds like it gets added to your report, and not to mine (Unless I use UPS), and I need to figure out why. But that will be after I meet my tax deadline in 19 hours. I appreciate your help, but I am resigning myself to a lot of data entry. I'm really envious of everyone else's ability to =sum(J13:J219) , but I'm a few hours away from that I believe.
