We've been having some strange issues with our listings having discrepancies of the information in our records.
I recall a place where I used to be able to check listing records, that were the listing at the time of purchase (disregarding any revisions since then).
I've not been able to find that anywhere on eBay this morning. Does anyone know if or where you can access these type of records?

It used to be that the actual item link from your sold page for the transaction in question was the same version the buyer saw when they purchased. I do not know if this is still the same or not?
I recall recently CSR personal saying things like your revisions do not show what the buyer is accusing you us. So that tells me they check that area in disputes?

That is what I thought. But when I check the sales record, the link only sends me to the current listing, not the one at the time of their purchase.

Right. My guess is that they took that extra copy away because MBG claims are now returns requests or refunds so no need to investigate this kind of thing any longer.
(imagine the storage for an original copy of every listings)

The problem with that is, how could they possibly resolve a dispute if the customer claims any information did not match?
In our case, many items are being reported having compatibility chart information that is incorrect. I'm not sure if this is a possible issue with the eBay catalog, or if it was something edited by us manually.
Some of the items were listed years ago yet have wrong compatibility now, but them being a popular item, it would have been unusual for so many years to pass without noticing a discrepancy.
Some of the other listings we've found say the compatibility chart was edited on January 10th, but we can't see exactly what it was edited from/to. This would be very useful in helping us figure out what might have happened, and would also indicate if the information was 100% supplied by us, or if it may have been included from a catalog match.
It would be very helpful if we could see the records of what customers purchased from us. I contact eBay about this, and the CSR said she checked it from the customers page and it showed the listing, but not the compatibility information...
Seems very worrying if even eBay CSR's don't have the capability to verify if the compatibility chart information is correct or not! What happens when a customer claims they searched eBays vehicle tool for their car and our listing showed up? Do they just take their word for it and not even have a way to verify it...?

Yes, but it's different depending on whether you're talking about GTC or single quantity 30 day listing. Which is it @zamo-zuan?

I looked at your listings and looks like you're using mainly multi quantity listings.
1. Click on the listing in question.
2. Look where it says (random numbers) 50 available / 100 sold.
3. 100 sold will be a hyperlink. Click on it.
4. That will show you a list of your sales on that item in the past 90 days.
5. Find the transaction and buyer in question.
6. Each line item will have a drop down on the right that says "more actions".
7. Under the more actions drop down you will see an action that says "view purchased item".
That will show you the listing as it appeared when that specific buyer purchased it.

Well as you know the resolution to not as described requests is return and refund almost exclusively so there is no review of info any longer. For INR request if it shows delivered it to almost every time closed out when the seller provides this info or the seller just refunds for whatever reason.
