Is the Promotion Email from b2cgrowth@ebay.com legit?

I received an Email from b2cgrowth@ebay.com as followings. Is it legit or just a scam? I guess it a Scam because Ebay is never generous like this.

Create special offers to grab more buyers

Your Store gives you free access to Promotions Manager—a powerful tool that lets you set up the offers buyers look for first. Buy one, get one free. Free 2-day shipping on orders over $50. Get a free case with any iphone purchase.

It’s easy to do and a great way to stand out from the crowd and boost order size.

Promote your listings for 30% more visibility

Once you’ve got that great offer in place, promote your listing to get featured in prominent placements reserved for promoted listings—including top search spots and on item pages.

You decide what you’re willing to pay—and you pay only when your ad shows up and results in a sale. It’s a great easy way to boost exposure as much as 30% and increase the likelihood of a sale.

Find both of these great tools right in the marketing tab of your seller hub.

Re: Is the Promotion Email from b2cgrowth@ebay.com legit?

Someone received a different promotion the other day from the same email address.  One of the eBay employees came in and said it was real.  You might want to take a look at this thread.  See post #4 where the eBay employee responded:

If you are even remotely considering doing this, make sure you read ALL of the fine print.  What you posted didn't say anything about how long they are granting you the "free" store.  If you have to sign up for a year, but things don't work out, know that you will have to pay a penalty for early cancellation.

Another point to note is that many, many, many of the sellers here that have stores are either no longer or infrequently (once in six or seven months) receiving listing promotions.

I'm closing my store tomorrow.  eBay promises a lot but delivers little.  I have almost 10% of my items with ZERO or just ONE view (which is mine).

Be wary.   Good luck.

Great! 45.8% down over the same time last year with 2x+ items listed. Are you impressed? I'm certainly not!

Re: Is the Promotion Email from b2cgrowth@ebay.com legit?

Thank you, llllady.

I checked the other posts and find it legit one. But I called Ebay, they said it is a scam. Maybe they just don't want to give something free to us. Ebay wants to make big money from us.

Maybe I will quit soon also.

Good luck!
