Does it bother anyone else but me when I purchase an item from someone, they don't leave feedback for me? I make it a point of leaving feedback either right after the buyer pays me, or I mail the item. It's sort of like when I purchase something from, say, Walmart. I always thank the cashier, or any other employee who assists me, and when I get a nod, or an "Uh huh", instead of a "Thank you" or a "You're welcome", it rubs me the wrong way.
Call me sensitive (some of you will *L*), but it's just a pet peeve of mine, being a gracious buyer AND seller.
Thoughts?

Always wanted to try bar-tending, but alas...
To be honest, it isn't hard. A monkey could bartend. And in my experience I've seen that. I got my first job with zero experience by lying about working somewhere else that had closed so the owner couldn't check. But somehow I picked it up. And became one of the best bartenders there.
Anybody who was good at it could take six orders at once, finish a joke while making the drinks, and get the last few drags out of a cigarette before serving them (back in the days when you could smoke behind the bar) all in under a minute or so.
You should definitely try it. Most of the drinks are either simple or common sense. And if you don't know what's in it, make it sweet and make it red.

I usually leave feedback for a seller after I get the item and verify it is as described. If the seller wants to leave feedback, fine. If not, that's fine too. When it comes to bad feedback, a seller would have to be pretty bad for me to leave it.
I see nothing wrong with saying, "Attaboy for choosing me for a seller" in the feedback if the buyer likes that kind of statement.
But, some buyers did not seem to appreciate it when it was left for them, so I avoid praising a buyer for knowing how to type and use the computer.
I think some sellers who do not leave feedback until the buyer leaves feedback assume that when a person does not leave feedback, the person prefers to not receive feedback. The only thing I don't like about that is if a buyer feels the same way as the seller, no feedback would ever be left by anyone.
I usually thank the customer for their business in a message along with sending them the tracking number. I also do it in a message enclosed with the shipment.
If I'm not mistake, feedback was originally designed to give other members an idea of how the particular transaction went and not a way to communicate a thank you message to the buyer.
