I understand eBay has discontinued its Adult Only section. But sales of items--such as autographed Playboy cards, autographed Juicy Honey cards, art cards with nudity--are (or are not?) allowed to be listed. This past week eBay removed my listing for an autographed Playboy card, an autographed Juicy Honey card, and a nude art card.
I have spoken to three eBay representatives and each conversation has left me puzzled. They suggest that if I try to relist the items--despite removing edited pictures which covered the nudity--my account might be irrevocably suspended.
So, here is a Top Rated Seller trying, at risk, to try to list these items again. . .why? Because there are multiple live auctions on eBay featuring--many of each of these items.

Its been clear for years EBay hasn’t a clue what their own policies are on this. Kind of sad.

My advice, for what it's worth:
Experienced sellers will tell you: Never, NEVER rely on the presence of the same items on ebay as evidence that they are permitted. Some listings aren't caught. Some are. Just like not every speeding vehicle on the highway gets pulled over.
And, once ebay has told you NOT to relist and warned you of the possible consequences: Never, ABSOLUTELY NEVER relist the items unless you truly want to be permanently suspended.

Don't relist it. Relisting after it's been removed can get you a 7 day, 30 day or indefinite restriction. Even if it was wrongly removed.

Hi @007_buz_
'Adult Only' items as a 'category' was disbanded when Adyen took over from PayPal to process buyers' payments for eBay under Managed Payments.
Since then, MANY sellers have been having trouble figuring out what kind of 'adult' stuff is still allowed to be listed ... as items that appear to meet eBay's current policy keep being removed.
Personally, I don't think eBay is the best place to list ANY of these items anymore. It's just kind of pointless.

eBay took them down, told you not to relist them, and warned you that doing so might lead to suspension.
You should not be confused at all - that is a very clear message.
eBay policy enforcement has never been comprehensive, accurate, or timely. The presence of other policy violations will not protect you from a suspension, just as the presence of people speeding will not protect you from a speeding ticket.

My crystal ball is in the shop, but I have another way of predicting the future.
You relist those items, despite the warnings. Then will come back here and try to convey your utter confusion and anger that your account has been permanently suspended.

Thank you, but. . .autographed Playboy cards are listed. Perhaps it is category specific. I chose to list in Non-Sports trading cards. eBay says nudity is allowed in art, in photographs. Maybe I should try Collectibles/autographs/models. . .But I fear suspension

"But I fear suspension"
And rightly so.
It's been my observation that, whether the original takedown was proper or not, when ebay says don't relist and a seller relists, the "violation" is no longer about the original item, so much as it's about the failure to follow ebay's direction not to relist.

Out of curiosity, what is it about the sentence, 'Do not relist as they are against ebay policy and you have been warned', that you find confusing or don't understand?

My guess is the OP does not understand Playboy and nude art cards are adult items.

You are on a one-way trip to indefinite restriction. Once that happens, and you have been warned it will happen if you relist--regardless of the category--there will be no avenue for appeal. You will be done here.

Perhaps so, however with 3200 feedback, and top rated seller, that seems a little far-fetched.

One might almost think that the OP is looking for advice on 'workarounds'.
